Curious, what did you pay per night for your room? We stayed there last week for one night at the hotel. Staying onsite is totally not worth it as the day pass is $44 and gives access from 9am-10pm. There is no dedicated space for hotel guests. It does change a bit in the evening when the busses leave with most of the day pass peeps, and the morning is quiet too before 9am. The hotel tells you that as a guest you have a private pool from 10pm all night but then the three bars all close around 9:30pm. And if you leave a towel outside and not in your room you get charged $30 per towel as a hotel guest! And no Costa Rican beers are sold there.

Thank you! No, if you are a guest and staying the night you have full access to the property for the entirety of your stay. We took full advantage of it and had a blast! Definitely recommend!
How much is typically the trip from San Jose to Baldi or does Baldi provide transportation?
Was there anything to do during the evening time , any entertainment in the hotel or surrounding area ie local bars .
There is! You can head into town where there are several spots worth checking out the nightlife. The resort has a bar that stays open later also. We were there during CVD so things were much less active but we had a blast. It’s a great jumping off point sort of between the daily activities like hikes, swimming, zip lining, etc and the town with restaurants and bars.

@@HappyRareGrooveMan Yeah…had a decent selection. I’m not a big drinker so didn’t really spend a lot of time at the bar. But looked good!
We stayed last week at the hotel. The bars are done by 9:30pm. They do not sell any Tico beers at the hotel. You are better off with the day pass for $44 and eating and drinking some before you go to Baldi.

Just do the day pass for $44 and have some food and drinks before you go. Food there is way overpriced and no Costa Rican beers either.
