more evidence: listen to the let it grow song carefully.... and grammie states... "I'm grammie norma I'm old and I got grey and hair and I remember when's trees where everywhere" this proves that grammie WAS around when the trees where alive
One theory that I have come up with about the Once-ler being Ted's grandfather... is the scene when Norma Wiggins goes in and gets the marshmallows she would know that the Once-ler liked marshmallows. Ted never told her to get marshmallows. The Once-ler never told Ted to bring marshmallows, and when Ted got there with the marshmallows the Once-ler was surprised to see them he didn't know those were coming another little thing to ponder about. Thanks for the videos.👍✌
But the onceler said in his story that he fed marshmallows to the forest animals and that he brought them with him to go to find the truffula forest so Ted probably just brought marshmallows to relate to the onceler though the story
I theorize that Norma probably told Ted to get marshmellow to the Onceler and gives hints that she knows him than what she presents. As if they were once lovers. Also to further add into the theory, the Onceler and Ted look alike so they could be grandfather-grandson.
I think this theory adds more weight to the Lorax's line "I remind you of the promises you made, the man you used to be!". If he has a 7 year old daughter at that point, he'd want to set a good example for her and he'd overall want to be a good person because he'd think she deserves a good man for a father. However he's destroying a meadow, breaking promises, and really just being greedy and putting money over everyone else. So he's already trying to deny the fact that he's doing bad things because they make him feel guilty alone, it's only 10 times worse with his child so he denys everything even more. So when the Lorax comes and reminds him of how he used to be, it doesn't just remind him that he's not the good man who kept his promises and tried to do the right thing anymore. It also reminds him he's not the man he thinks his daughter deserves for a father
You know, another fact that could help prove the theory, granny Norma's staff is actually made of wood which only comes from trees, a very simple detail that many people overlook
I missed it. The time when a no good husband has "accidentally" put the ring on the dead woman. Oops! Spoiler Alert. Too bad my copy of that disappeared.
in coraline where did all the keys come from and how does coralines mother know to circle then open the door with the key and why is she not suspicious that a small door that leads to brick is even there?😹
I was rewatching the Lorax and I found another piece of evidence for you. About 33 minutes into the film the Once-Ler tells Ted "Why aren't you like other kids; break dancing, wearing bell bottoms and playing the Donkey Kongs?" This leads me to believe that the last time he paid attention to what was in style with the kids was with his own: Ted's mother, who would have grown up in the 1970s and would have been heavily into these things. Is it a coincidence to be 33 minutes into the film?
I came up with my own fan theory: The film starts with the Lorax opening a stage musical sort of before going into narration. All of the songs are in the style of a stage musical vs most cinematic musicals so I think this is a nod to that, but I don't think it's actually supposed to be like it's a stage musical because the Lorax claims we're about to see what actually happened. That and the fact that if he knew he was narrating to us that would mean he's breaking the 4th wall and he never breaks the 4th wall throughout the remainder of the movie, so I think that was supposed to be in his imagination. Claims this is what actually happened? As opposed to what? He says that there's more to the story than what we see on the page. Yes, the movie opens with the title character referencing the fact that we may have already read the book! I still don't think he's supposed to be breaking the 4th wall through for the same reasons I already explained. If he doesn't know he's a fictional character, how does he know about the Dr. Seuss book or how it's different from the movie? This is my theory. I think in this universe, TED WIGGINS WROTE THE LORAX! When Ted grew up he wanted kids to hear the same story he did so they would learn the same lessons the Once-ler's story taught him. So he wrote a picture book but made some changes to it. He made it so you couldn't see the Once-ler's face or body. Only his green hands. A) that's all Ted saw when he first heard the story and B) if you only see his arms The Once-ler could be anyone or anything so it could represent more than the individual which was what Ted wanted. And all the other changes he made so it would be shorter and more digestible for children but still keep the story and main messages intact. Also Audrey likes painting so it's possible she could've drawn the illustrations for him. Also Ted is named after Dr. Seuss, the guy who wrote the book in real life. And the girl he has a crush on, was named after Dr Suess's wife Audrey. This is the part of my evidence that I don't remember 100%. In the special the Once-ler gives the last seed to a boy just like Ted. In the book, I think he gives it to you, the reader. I swear I remember him giving it to me and me thinking, yes I will do what you asked me to do. Then it was really depressing when I realized I didn't actually have the seed in real life so I couldn't do what he told me to do. But I haven't read the book in many years so it's possible that they do show the kid from the special and I just remember wrong. But assuming I'm right and in the original he does give it to the reader, well that's the way Ted would have it if he wrote it. He wants to share the Once-ler's story with children, so it makes sense he would end it with giving them the last Truffula Tree seed and telling them they can make a difference. Not to mention that is where the story ends in Ted's eyes. He's sharing with children the story the Once-ler shared with him. Not his own story. So to Ted he believes that is the ending, where as we, or some of the other characters might end it somewhere else. That is my theory. If anyone read this I'd love to hear what you think.
Jay Lawrence I love your theory this is probably the best theory I’ve heard, the only theory I could come up with for the Lorax is that o hare gets the air he sells from aliens but that was mostly a joke. This theory is amazing I can’t believe your comment doesn’t have that many likes either. Your theory has inspired me to make some theory videos, I will not steal your idea though because I think that if anyone made this into a video it should be you, so I will start with, where did o hare actually get the air he sells from.
my own theory is that Once-ler and Norma met each other during the time of the Truffula trees as they started dating then when his factory had started, she tried to please him to stop making thneeds from the trees but he refuses to listen to her and continues, so then Norma leaves Once-ler but keeps the thneed he gave her. through the years she had a daughter who has grown up and had a son named Ted. as for today Ted asks his grandma for a tree for the girl he likes, Norma tells him about the Once-ler. that is my theory for this
It's hard. I've seen quite a few friends who do not see it. I think it's the unfortunate way I brightened it, but it was the only way. Eventually, when I really outline it, they see it, but it's a fairly difficult thing to see at first. But it is there. The fact that there's a clear afro and feminine clothing should be enough, as well as the clearly similar facial structure.
It is there. I am an hobbyist artist, so picking out tiny things in artwork is something I do often. Try turning brightness up on your screen. If you are that person whose phone battery is set to last the apocalypse. (Me) +The Theorizer Would you mind if I go find some screenshots of this frame and work some photoshop magic on it?
You should be able to save my profile picture to your phone....? I just really want confirmation of some sort, even 'I don't care enough to', so I can change my picture back....
I was thinking... could the onceler use to own the town? His product is thneed and the towns name is thneedvill. There has to be some sort of connection to that. (Sorry for bad spelling)
I have a theory that's kind of like this and includes the Ted is the Once-ler's grandson theory: My theory is that Audrey is a spirit or a nymph. She doesn't know it of course. She somehow managed to get information about nature when she was the only one in Thneedville who seemed to care. She takes a great interest in the tree's when no one else seems to. It's generally accepted that Nymphs need to be near nature to feel healthy and be powerful. So living in a completely artificial town would drive her insane. The Lorax magically appears and has powers, so we know stuff like this is possible in that universe. So this is where the Ted and Once-ler theory comes in. The person who she decides to show her painting to is none other than the Once-ler's grandson. She just randomly decides to show it to Ted one day for no apparent reason. Why? Well, Ted's grandfather knew the Lorax, probably his grandmother too and his mother may have even meet him a couple times. This made sound a little weird but perhaps she can sense the family's tie to the Lorax. If the Lorax is the guardian of the forest and leaps from world to world (or speck to speck) trying to protect nature, then he'd be like the head nature spirit. And a Nymph would be able to sense if the Lorax was nearby, or in this case someone from a family with a connection to the Lorax. So she decides to show Ted. She does this all subconsciously of course. Nymphs in stories are often unusually beautiful and unintentionally enchant men into doing stupid things to try to win them. That is exactly what Audrey does to Ted. Nymphs can be gentle, graceful, kind and sweet while at the same time being witty and tough. This describes her very well. She also has bright orange hair (symbolizes her and Ted's parallels to the Lorax) and bright floral clothing (symbolizes her love for nature.) She also knows what Truffula tree seeds look like without ever seeing one and she knows how to grow tree's without having ever been taught.
Did you realize that in that musical number where The Onceler is building is empire, at the end he is kinda playing with the model of the city of Thneedville? This means he rebuilt all the freaking city AND the wall around it. He left himself locked out on purpose because he didn't wanted to forget what he had done (we can see this because is obvious that he craves for someone to be interested on the trees and help him save them), but also he built the wall so that anyone could see what he had done. Kind of incoherent but totally believable as he was completely ashamed of himself.
I found something epic, when the Once-ler is talking at a press confrence in how bad can i be you can see someone who looks like Norma but younger in the crowd.
THE THEORIZER I JUST WANTED TO SAY I HAVE MORE EVIDENCE ABOUT THIS THEORY YOU KNOW WHEN THE ONCELER IS SINGING HIS SONG WHEN HE "GIVES CHARITY TO THE POOR" AND PEOPLE ARE TAKING PHOTO'S YOU CAN SEE SOMEONE IN THE BACKGROUND THAT LOOKS JUST LIKE NORMA
maybe audry was visited by the lorax in her dreams and thats why she loves the trees so much. he could have easily used his powers to plant the idea of seeing real trees in her dreams.
I see a lot of theories about the "ounceler" (I don't know how to spell it) being the grandfather but one that I thought about when I seen the movie that I haven't seen anywhere else yet is a simple one... the "onceler" is the creation of the boys imagination. I seen the movie as the old "onceler" was telling the boy a story of the trees and the boy just made the main character himself because he didn't really know what the person looked like and made it easy for himself to relate to the story. Also they both had a fascination of trees (for self purposes which were the girl and money) SO I believe it's as simple as that, we see what the boy imagined from the story he was told and that is why everything was so dramatic, fast pace and cartoonish (the animals) it's all in the boys head...
I watched these two videos three times, once before I saw the movie, once after I saw the movie, and now, today. And I went back to the movie and I saw the portrait and it does look like Norma or Ted's mom. I wouldn't mind more theories on this movie, tbh.
another place you can see Grammy Norma is in How Bad Can I Be. when the fish is getting a portion for charity. there is a curly hair older lady taking a picture. thought I would just throw that out there.
Idk if this has anything to do with anything but there’s a part in this movie where Ted’s mom plays disco music and dances and kinda sings a tune and the tune that she sings is literally the tune to how bad can I be
You should totally do a theory on the Zebra in Phineas and Ferb that Candace sees everywhere that keeps on calling her "Kevin". He's seen everywhere including the movie where he's reading "Kevin wins Election" in the newspaper. It is also said that the Mom sees him too. Perry knows about the zebra also as in 'Phineas and Ferb Gets Busted', it was said to be Perry's dream, not Candace's and he was in it.
Question. There is the unless stone and a circle of grass in it. It was clearly intended for the seed to be planted there. So why didn't he plant the seed there? He kind of just ignored it. So was this little "last wish" of the Lorax really fufilled?
I know I'm late but I found something too, when I watched The Lorax when it became a meme. So there's this scene where the Once-ler asks Ted why is he so interested, and then he finds out that it's for impressing a girl/woman (Audrey). The Once-ler says that if someone does a stupid thing twice, it's for impressing someone.
The theory about the girl being the Lorax also makes sense because how would she know what a tree looks like to be able to paint them if she had never seen one
I love the theory about Ted being related to the Once-Ler but the one with Audrey and the Lorax scared me bc Ted an Audrey fall in love at the end. But you had a lot of evidence with both. I love ur videos
and as far as the picture frame, why would they need to use the same character model for a dang picture? if it wasn't Norma, why would it matter that it was there in the first place?
I JUST HAD A CRAZY CONSPIRACY ok so im watching this, still wondering, WHO IS TED'S DAD? but what if... it is o'hare? think about it, o'hare is the perfect age to have a teen child, in his 50s, and ted's mom is around that age too. maybe ted's mom and him split? that also might explain why she was so nervous letting him into her house, and why she let him into Ted's room... because it was his CHILD'S room. O'Hare could've left because he didn't want responsibility, he just wanted his business to be his #1 priority, and it also explains why he has no wife. i'm not sure... some responses would be great!
The most important part you missed Is that the "How bad can I be?" Song takes place through 1979-1983 because I think most of the beginning takes place in 2012 when the film is released like wreck it Ralph and used math to track down 33 years and it's 1979 and you said years because it's most important of all and I used 1983 because it's the perfect timing to end and it's like 4 years.
Ugh this theory ruins everything. A few months ago, I made a theory that O’Hare was the Onceler’s son, and I made an OC named London as his wife. Man....
I think his father is Warren Wiggins from the alphabet book. But the fact that his father used to not like taking baths doesn't tell you a whole lot. His father is probably dead because Mrs Wiggins is married but we never see the father. I'd like Theorizer to do a video on it.
What happens if ted is "he's grandfather" what happens if he cut down those trees . This sounds crazy but wat happens if he is looking at he's future??????!!!!!??!
Okay, not related to this video at all, more to the channel. I have a god idea for the subject matter of a future episode, or at least I think it's good. It's something I don't see people talking about much, but it's pretty mysterious. It is "Ori and the Blind Forest." It's pretty mysterious, I feel like there's surely something in there of interest. If nothing else, the Spirit Tree, a character from the game, is pretty shady, and you might be able to make a theory about him. But, anyways, that's it: just an idea for a future video. I hope to see a theory on it some day, I think it would be REALLY cool to find out more about that game.
more evidence: listen to the let it grow song carefully.... and grammie states... "I'm grammie norma I'm old and I got grey and hair and I remember when's trees where everywhere" this proves that grammie WAS around when the trees where alive

maybe the picture is actually teds mom and the once ler just has a picture of his daughter
Either way, still supports the theory~!
Đičk reveal at 1k that's what I was thinking when he first showed the picture to us.
But this would still support the theory, because it would be his daughter. Means Ted is still related to him.
Lisa N. I know I'm not trying to debunk it
That would make more sense.
You know, another fact that could help prove the theory, granny Norma's staff is actually made of wood which only comes from trees, a very simple detail that many people overlook
Could you maybe do a theory on Corpse Bride? :)
omw i loveeeeeeee corpse bride
Yes please, watched it last night!
nah, i watched it ages ago. Damn, those memories tho.

I got from watching a few memes to watching theories about the lorax
I came up with my own fan theory:
The film starts with the Lorax opening a stage musical sort of before going into narration. All of the songs are in the style of a stage musical vs most cinematic musicals so I think this is a nod to that, but I don't think it's actually supposed to be like it's a stage musical because the Lorax claims we're about to see what actually happened.

IT'S JUST A THEORY... A GAME THEO... oops
AAAAAHHHHHH! I was going to tell people in the video not to say that, but I decided not too :D

Hex A. Decimal The timing proves it must be the Grandmother, although it's extremely likely that she looked like that back then.
My UA-cam photo is temporarily an enhanced picture on the Once-lers wall.
Sorry it was the best I could do. If you still can't see it... 😬

I have a theory that's kind of like this and includes the Ted is the Once-ler's grandson theory:

Aww hell naw. Ted’s dad is dead.
I think Onceler at the end of the movie is Ted in his 50s. If it takes 30 years to make the tree, it takes longer for the tree to grow.

I always wondered why it's a circle with grass in it and not just a stone if the boy doesn't even plant the seed there. Can someone explain?

I'm a theorizer, not a theorist. Theorists talk about theories, theorizers create theories.
The Theorizer then, idk, build a theory off of that.

This is something I've thought about ever since I seen the movie and it would be nice if anyone gave me good or bad feedback about it
Thats like the pokemon theory about ash beeing in coma just with less proof
Does anyone notice how he's called ted. Like Theodore rosevelt. Both wanted to conserve
Ted was Dr. Seuss' real name. Theodore's Giesel.
I watched these two videos three times, once before I saw the movie, once after I saw the movie, and now, today. And I went back to the movie and I saw the portrait and it does look like Norma or Ted's mom.
I wouldn't mind more theories on this movie, tbh.
In The scene about charity in how bad can I be you can see Grammy Norma taking pictures
I think your vids go so in depth that the writers and creators didnt even think of that! awesome vid btw!👍👍👍👍👍👍
another place you can see Grammy Norma is in How Bad Can I Be. when the fish is getting a portion for charity. there is a curly hair older lady taking a picture. thought I would just throw that out there.
Great Video As Always :) And I Love The Intro :)
I always thought they were related... they looked so much alike-
But hey! That's just a theory
A FILM- wait wrong video
I found a theory of Ted Has No Dad he is adopted or his dad died and no one knows who can he be?
Audry was named after Dr. Seuss' 1st wife.
Question. There is the unless stone and a circle of grass in it. It was clearly intended for the seed to be planted there. So why didn't he plant the seed there? He kind of just ignored it. So was this little "last wish" of the Lorax really fufilled?
Watching to your vids is like listening to a mad man (or writer) making new ideas up. It is actually, but in a funny cartoon like way.
I actually like the idea that Audrey is the Lorax in diguise, I think it would build on Lorax's character.
roses are red, violets are red. Holy crap! my garden''s on fire!
Roses are red, Violets are too, my backyard has somehow gone up in flames too!
I guess "too" technically is cheating, when you rhyme it with "too", but hey, I'm no Dr. Suess :D
Hey ur the theorizer can u do a shout out for me cuz I'm a really small channel
Ooh...
Roses are red,
Violets the same;
My garden seems to have gone up in flames.
Maybe O'Hare is Ted's dad but he got greedy and left the mum
I know I'm late but I found something too, when I watched The Lorax when it became a meme. So there's this scene where the Once-ler asks Ted why is he so interested, and then he finds out that it's for impressing a girl/woman (Audrey). The Once-ler says that if someone does a stupid thing twice, it's for impressing someone.
In the official commentary of the film it is said that the duration of the thneed factory's existence is about 3 or 4 years, so that much is canon.
WHERE IS THE ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS THEORY
The theory about the girl being the Lorax also makes sense because how would she know what a tree looks like to be able to paint them if she had never seen one
I love the theory about Ted being related to the Once-Ler but the one with Audrey and the Lorax scared me bc Ted an Audrey fall in love at the end. But you had a lot of evidence with both. I love ur videos
and as far as the picture frame, why would they need to use the same character model for a dang picture? if it wasn't Norma, why would it matter that it was there in the first place?
Theorizer thank you I love theory's 😍 .
thank you for the hard work 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I thought everyone believe that Ted was onceler relative. I thought that was meant to be delibertly obvious.
I JUST HAD A CRAZY CONSPIRACY
ok so im watching this, still wondering, WHO IS TED'S DAD?
but what if... it is o'hare?
think about it, o'hare is the perfect age to have a teen child, in his 50s, and ted's mom is around that age too. maybe ted's mom and him split? that also might explain why she was so nervous letting him into her house, and why she let him into Ted's room... because it was his CHILD'S room.
O'Hare could've left because he didn't want responsibility, he just wanted his business to be his #1 priority, and it also explains why he has no wife.
i'm not sure... some responses would be great!
and what is Mrs. Wiggins' first name? so many questions
Audrey is RELATED to the lorax, or was CREATED by him
Just saying the picture in the background could possibly be the oncelers mother , but it kinda looks like her I'm not sure
I always hate it when they say "It's just a theory"
Cause it's an opinion
I've been waiting for this for a long time
noooo the audreylorax theory was so gooood. is there a way to see it again? please it was such a good image, i laughed so hard, i loved it.
We Bare Bears Theory!
He only does theory's on good shows
implying the lorax is good
Illumanarwhals :3 this is an exeption
cheesewic suuuure
lorax is kinda bad tho
The most important part you missed Is that the "How bad can I be?" Song takes place through 1979-1983 because I think most of the beginning takes place in 2012 when the film is released like wreck it Ralph and used math to track down 33 years and it's 1979 and you said years because it's most important of all and I used 1983 because it's the perfect timing to end and it's like 4 years.
And the truffla trees grows almost 21 years and it's 20 years and 10 months.
Actually the woman from you thought was Grammy Norma couldn't be because she was in the background during let it grow so she couldn't be
downright amazing
I am kind of happy since you said Audrey is not actually the Lorax which would make her a trap in anime terms
woah there i love theorys and i think its so interesting to watch a new subscriber right there Keep up the good work
maybe the Lorax adopted Audrey as his daughter🤔
-whispers in the back-
CORALINE
CORALINE
CORALINE
It's just a theory
A FILM THEORY...wait wrong script
The woman you said was past granny Norma is in let it grow as well, sorry.
Or her model was reused, idk
Actually she appears just before let it grow
Sorry
The ad that played at the beginning of this video was about how important trees are 🤣
What if that was the daughter and he had a picture to remember her
I believe she was raised but he lorax because she is 16 living alone and her goal was to make other people care about nature and the truffla trees
you put wayyyy too much effort into your videos for the amount of subs you have
I made this vid when I had 50k
The Theorizer not talking trash btw I'm just saying you put a lot of effort for so little people😂 you seem too smart for this
it dosent matter how many people he has he should still
try his best
Drew Johnson he does his best YOU DO A VIDEO
MadMan LRVJ it was a compliment to him not an insult
Good job person who commented that ^^ and nice vid!
But hey that's just a theory, a film theory. Thank for watching
4:38 A FILM THEORY!!!!!!
It's been a long time since I've seen the Lorax I loved it too, so I'll catch up on it to watch this.
so, what about the main theory, about the lorax being whatshernamesobland? part 3?
Ugh this theory ruins everything. A few months ago, I made a theory that O’Hare was the Onceler’s son, and I made an OC named London as his wife. Man....
Ok, but who's Ted's Father?
Why are you so underrated
Maybe can you do a theory on who is Ted's father?
I think his father is Warren Wiggins from the alphabet book. But the fact that his father used to not like taking baths doesn't tell you a whole lot. His father is probably dead because Mrs Wiggins is married but we never see the father. I'd like Theorizer to do a video on it.
can you do a theory about teds dad? because there were question marks on his father so can you do a theory about that?
When he said "it's
Just a theory" all I could think was "a game theory"
What happens if ted is "he's grandfather" what happens if he cut down those trees . This sounds crazy but wat happens if he is looking at he's future??????!!!!!??!
Braiden Conway *his
And his the one of the future prevents that from happening? Nah
can u do a theory on shrek
I have.
ɷɷɷ I Haveee Watchedddd This Movieee Leakedd Versionn Hereee : - t.co/EQMyZQlo5e
Make theory of mrs. wiggins husband
The commentary of the movie says 5 years passes in "How bad can I be"
When The Theorizer uploads STOP, DROP and CLICK
