Thank you so much for your tutorial videos. I have one question. Our lab uses Dynamixel MX 28AT and the microcontroller is discontinued. Do you have any recommendations for Arduino boards that can be used to control the motor? As a neurobiology lab, we only need a simple function, only to control the rotation "on and off".
I recommend the OpenRB-150 Arduino compatible board, available from our ROBOTIS eShops. International: en.robotis.com/shop_en/item.php?it_id=902-0183-000 US: www.robotis.us/openrb-150/
Thanks a lot for your recommendation. We have another problem now with using OpenRB 150. The board can connect to Arduino IDE (green and yellow led will be on while running program from dynamixel2arduino) but the motor power will be turned off (red led off). we tried so many different ways, changing another Openrb 150, changing charger, and using an old version of Arduino IDE, but all failed. Do you have any idea what happened? In addition, we can use Wizard 2.0 to let the motor move, but fail to send Packets as it doesn't work along what we set in Packets @ROBOTISCS @@ROBOTISCS

The LN-101 serial downloader is not needed to utilize the serial monitor for Arduino boards, but the process of configuring and connecting your serial port for monitoring depends on the specific Arduino compatible board that you are using.
That looked like the joystick was controlling direction and not position. Does the servo return to zero when you release the joystick, I couldn't tell as you done the demonstration very quickly.
In this particular example, the joystick was only controlling the direction of rotation. The servo does not return to zero when the joystick is released.
Hello I trying to make the car avoiding obstacle using arduino and dynamixel motors. I bought XC430-W150-T as motors, and I also bought HC-SR04 sonic sensor. I'm trying to make the car go and if the sonic sensor detects obstacle, then stop until the obstacle moves. Could you help me creating this code..? I'm having some trouble making the code. It is so hard including some codes related to shield. Thank you.
Unfortunately, I can't provide you with any programming help for completing your Arduino project. I can however point you to the Arduino forums, where expert Arduino users can help you with your programming, and you can ask any other questions that you may need answered. forum.arduino.cc/

As the LN-101 is discontinued, can you release updated videos for this tutorial series? Thanks!
Great video. Thanks a lot!
Very good
Thanks
I have a question. Is a serial communication downloader such as LN-101 essential to use serial monitor when controlling Dynamixel with Arduino?

Thank you for your video. I'd appreciate it if you could teach me how to use xl-320 servo motor.
Is it same code of XL430-W250-T?

The DYNAMIXEL shield can be used to control up to 253 DYNAMIXEL servos from a single Arduino controller.
It would be great to see examples in C#, using a U2D2 and a PC, to control Dynamixels.
Are there any specific examples you would like to see being done?

Please make your videos louder, people can turn down the volume, but can't turn it up from nothing.
