To see the love and devotion of these two Eagles and how they protected their babies is what Love is all about !! If only people could show that kind of love to each other and taking care of their babies the best way they could this world would be a better place !! The beauty that God created is never to be taken for granted . I always love the Eagles since I was young and still do !!!
I still can't watch this nest. I know that M is a good mate to Harriet and a good dad, but it just makes me too sad remembering Ozzie. RIP Oz, soar high forever.

I've been watching Harriet and the new babies learning all about her and I spent six days straight watching all day and night with her dad and those eggs to hatch. I've read up a lot about Ozzie, and I found out I found a new family for the holidays I have two adopted eagle babies and mother and father the are truly a great addition to my family. this is so beautiful I know he was the best thank you so much introducing me to your family

What a beautiful video and the song is just perfect! Right after the new year, I came across videos of Harriett and M15 and got hooked on watching them raise E9. And if you have watched, everyone has been calling the little unhatched egg, Eggbert! It has been amazing to watch these magnificent birds and how caring they are for each other and their little E9! And also watching the devotion, hope, and caring that M15 and Harriett have for their little Eggbert. They see to know he/she isn't going to be but they just don't want to give up...just in case little Eggbert is a miracle child. We watch as Harriett and M15 bury and cover little Eggbert, but then one of them digs the egg up. The nurturing instinct is strong in E9 as he seems to seek out Eggbert to lay on him and keep him warm! I didn't know Ozzie, but it is plain to see in these photos how much these 2 birds cared for the other! I'm glad that Harriett was able to find a new eagle in her life!! As I've watched the latest videos of little E9, I know out time of watching him fly away is coming. It will be a sad & a happy day when E9 takes those wings and soars off! It will also be a sad time when Harriett & M finally accept that little Eggbert didn't make it! I cannot wait till they return next year! Hopefully they will have 2 live babies. E9 sometimes looks so lonely when his parents are out looking for meals. Today E amused himself with the spine of a fish they ate. But each day it seems to be E that sits on Eggbert, keeping him warm! I always thought eagles were one of the most beautiful birds and I couldn't imagine the USA having a different bird! Thank you! I just think ALL of the eagle watchers are wonderful! Just the fact that we can all enjoy these beautiful birds, up close, but without bothering them is wonderful! I have October marked on my calendar for the egg laying and harching of baby eagles!! In between watching Harriett and M, and of course our growing baby E9 (even Eggbert!!) I'm going through the early ones to see when Ozzie was with the lovely Harriett! So thank all of you who film and edit these animals that are indeed raptors!
Dang! I have squalled like a baby! I never knew Ozzie and seeing this video really touched my heart...I just learned it was a battle between Him and M15. What was the extent of his injuries? I saw him in the CROW facility where he was undergoing treatment. Great selection of music and video. God bless you for your time and effort in giving us the memories..
Yes it's very touching to me and I still cry too. He had broken wing, multiple severe lacerations and a broken toe in each foot. It was also reported that Ozzie had been entangled in barbwire. Thank you sooo much Kaye.

Looks like they have lost Eggbert. Harriett has been bringing in dead pine needles covering up the low spot where Eggbert was.
