This is a timelapse video of nimbus clouds on a clear sky made using Realme 12 pro plus. As time passes by, the base of the white cumulus clouds turn darker and the weather changes to make sure the storm arrives.

@@enjoyhappymoments616 Yes, I bought it for Rs 24,999 because I managed to arrange a credit card from my uncle. And considering the price at which I bought it, the phone is quite good. I have used it for 5 months now and I can definitely say that it's a good deal.
The camera is wonderful; photos are crisp and clear. The primary camera is very good in every aspect, the ultrawide camera is decent and the periscope telephoto does the job well in daylight. The portrait photo clicked using the periscope telephoto lens is just mind blowing considering the price point at which this phone is usually available. Realme has done a great job in tuning the colour, edge detection and blur.
Selfie photos are good provided good lighting conditions are available. The 32 MP camera produces enough detail for posting photos on any social media application.
However, the feature of HDR provided in the native camera app actually doesn't make sense to me. There is an option to turn on the *HDR Auto* which may or may not produce a photo with HDR every single time you click a photo. There is no option like *HDR ON* which should be there in my opinion.
Video from this phone is good but I have noticed that there is a frame wobble issue while recording with the telephoto lens although it happens occasionally. But there is no option for recording 4k 60 FPS videos using the rear camera. And the selfie video is decent enough and it lacks 4k recording!
The performance is good, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 handles day to day tasks easily. Be it watching UA-cam videos, chatting on WhatsApp, editing photos and videos, taking photos or scanning documents or recording videos, it performs well each and every time.
Battery backup is good. I charge it to 80% and I get a SOT (Screen on Time) of over 7 hours .
Security updates are available every month for the preceding month. Realme rolled out the security update for the month of August a few days back.
Realme UI 5.0 is feature packed and it comes with a lot of features and yes, the app opening and closing animations have not been minimised after the updates unlike the Realme 11 pro. The haptic motor is really good, feels solid and its implementation at different places in the UI is amazing!
No apparent heating issue but the temperature rises quickly when I record 4k videos outside during the afternoon with my mobile data turned on.
I have no issues with the network so far. The only downside that I am able to recollect now is the brightness of the AMOLED display. The display is bright enough for indoor usage but it's actually not visible properly outside on sunny days. Now, this could be a problem if somebody takes photos and videos in direct sunlight as the brightness would drop on its own to decrease the temperature of the device even when auto brightness is turned off! I have faced it a couple of times and I would say this could be an issue in case there is no other option available to shoot.
So, to summarise, I would say that it's an overall good phone with a lot of features, superb and practical camera setup, good performance and good battery backup. But the recently launched Realme 13 pro plus comes with some small upgrades like increase in the number of nits in HBM (High Brightness Mode), improved battery capacity and battery backup, Gorila Glass protection and 4k video recording using the selfie camera which equally matters while choosing a phone for yourself. So, be wise, vigilant and compare devices before you buy!
