Hello, not sure why UA-cam recommended me this video as I know nothing about age regression, but to anyone reading this, do whatever you have to do to be happy and healthy. You're not hurting anyone and I think this is a valid way to cope with whatever drives you to do this. I don't understand it but I respect it. Love yourself and tell someone else you love them today!
I love these ideas. When I was little my most common play was to imagine that the room is my plushies' world and they go on an adventure, for example: The bookshelf is a mountain to climb, the box is a cave they have to spend the night in and make a camp, the floor is a desert they have to make it through, and things like that.
thank you for the video, these were all super great ideas and i will definitely be trying them out! i also have an extra suggestion to anybody that might be struggling to play pretend: try giving your stuffed animals/toys personalities before coming up with the storyline. these can be super simple movie trope personalities (a super smart nerd, a really rude popular girl, an edgy emo kid, etc) and then, when you think up a scenario to put them in, it’s easier to think of what they would do/say in that scenario!
I think playing school with my toys sounds like fun, and so does playing restaurant (whether it's pizza/pasta, breakfast food, burgers, steak, or sandwiches)! Playing doctor with them is also fun; if I consider purchasing a kids' doctor kit, I'd look no further than a pink/princess or Sesame Street themed kit. Tea parties are smthg I want to do with my toys so bad rn. It'd be cool if I swam in a pool (at either a hotel, a friend's house, a Swimply, or just a kiddie pool at home) with one of those fake mermaid tails and played with a toy (who sits outside the pool, of course). Heck yeah; it'd be cool to reenact an episode of a show or movie I like; for a show/cartoon, I would do either Garfield, Johnny Test, Phineas & Ferb, or The Fairly OddParents; movies that might be fun include Beavis & Butt-Head Do America, Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella, Paddington, Ella Enchanted, Yes Day, the 2004 Garfield movie, Minions: The Rise of Gru, Bee Movie, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Daddy Day Care, Matilda, and the Homeward Bound movies.
I love your videos so absolutely much!! I've been having a really rough go with my mental and physical health (I'm also disabled), and your videos have helped me so much. Thank you, sending good vibes your way :3 !! P.S. You should definitely do more videos on pretend play :D
watched this while making matching bracelets for me and my fave plushie ✧。٩(ˊᗜˋ )و✧*。 also my favourite type of play is doing everyday tasks but with my plushies for example when i'm doing homework i'll explain it to them so they understand it too :3
I love the TV series Charmed so I like to pretend that Barbie is a good witch and she has powers. I also like to play My Little Pony and have it based on the shows and books and make up my own stories with them. great video and very helpful
I absolutely love this video!!!! And would love a part 2 if you’re feeling up to it!! When I was younger my little brother and I used to play with Barbie dolls together and we would pretend one of them was stuck in the FNAF pizzeria (five nights at Freddy’s) and they characters had to find a way to escape, but unfortunately for our main character the animatronics thought she was their best friend and would do anything in their power to keep her there lol! It was chaotic but fun and I really miss it. My brother is now a senior in high school so he doesn’t play with toys anymore. I also remember when LOL Surprise dolls were popular and we would find ways to incorporate them in our Barbie roleplay. Some how we even added ag dolls in the mix, I know ag dolls are not the same scale but we didn’t care.
When I was a kid, I really enjoyed pretending like it´s some kind of apocalypse and there are dinosaurs outside the house. I closed the blinds, turned off the lights and lighted just a little candle so the dinosaurs couldn´t find me😂🖤
Not sure why this is in my recommendation but i don't mind it, i used to watch the lps show in middle school but i never had any lps toys growing up, it was embarrassing for me watching the show as a guy so i always watched it in secret and stuck to typical guy stuff like transformers, not sure if this "healing your inner child" stuff will work while im 23 but it wouldn't hurt to try
Loved this video! As a system some of us struggle with this idea. Most of our Littles can't Front, but a lot of our hosts tend to get very stressed very easily. So the body almost forces them to slow down. I can't say exactly why but we've been ignoring our needs for the past few... months it's stressful trying to balance things out with an adult life. And with build up trauma behind it.
how do you get used to playing "loudly" (talking, yelling, etc) when you grew up not being allowed to make noise ? i really want to play more lively and make more noise, but it's like there's something inside me that's stopping me from doing so. my brain hasn't registered that making noise won't cause me any danger and it's frustrating me a lot. does anyone have tips on how to work on this ?
Where’d you get your Winnie The Pooh Sweater from? It looks so cute! I’d love more pink fall stuff cause pink is my fave color but it feels like all fall clothes are always orange or red lol 🍯🍂🩷
Hi, today I went to Marshalls and found a cute stuffed animal on the kids section, I was surprised because the price was very affordable but after paying it I checked the ticket I saw that it was actually a dog stuffed animal.. does anyone know if human stuffed animals are different vs a dog stuffed animal? It feels weird 😅 btw the only thing I saw was that the fur was not as abundant as others I have but besides from that I honestly don't know..
i hope its not a dumb question, im embarrassed >_< but do you have any tips/ideas/scenarios/advice for if you only have one toy? ;_; the toy i have is really special to me, but she's the only one i have, and i'm not super motivated (or in a good place financially) to get more toys right now, so i'd love if you had any ideas for playing pretend with just one toy >_< no pressure to respond if you dont want to!! i really appreciate your videos, they're super helpful for me and make me feel more valid!! ;_;🎀 have a nice day!!
You could make a car out of cardboard boxes for your toy, or if you own jewellery you could dress up your toy. If you want to buy more, you could try a charity shop or see if there are any toy giveaways online (or sometimes The Entertainer do toy giveaways.) If you have cups (they don’t have to be toy cups) you could have a tea party! Or you could use shadow puppets and make a puppet show :)

My stuffed animals will have a nice tea party and then later on conquer the monarchy and then establish a new government. ✨
