Ash asked "nightmare comfort from the villain. the villain gets woken up by the hero's squirming and whimpers and tries to wake the hero who goes into fight or flight mode. in their panic, hero lands a few (admitedly weak) hits on the villain. when theyre less disoriented and realize what happened, the hero starts profusely apologizing, sobbing while the villain cradles them and assures them that hes not mad about being woken up or the hits that hsrdly even hurt".
