Yeah that's insane. Boise St won by 4 against 2-8 Wyoming and leapfrogs UGA and Tennessee??? Common sense and SEC bias are clearly missing from this algorithm
No reason penn state is going to jump Texas. You say Texas struggled against Kentucky (bad third quarter for sure) but we handled a Kentucky team that has given good teams fits. Penn state definitely struggled against a very mediocre Minnesota, yet you give them credit for it
I don't see the committee bringing in a 3-loss team. They never brought in a 2-loss team with a 4-team playoff. Something else to consider, are they going to bring in a 3-loss team in the first 12-team playoff ... I'm saying no.
Boise is not jumping Georgia or Tennessee. 0 chance. They had to fight to beat SJSU and Wyoming these last two weeks. The algorithm is wrong. The committee moved up Bama after beating the brakes off of Mercer because teams ahead of them lost. Same thing will happen for both UGA and UT this week.
indiana shouldnt even be in there theyve played noone and when they finally did they got destroyed. i hope they play an SEC team first round if they stay in and show how they dont belong. would love to see them in an SEC schedule.
The algorithm like's their road win against a weak opponent vs teams like Tennessee and Georgia who played two of the worst teams in the country and won at home. I agree with you though, moving up three spots might be a little too aggressive from the algorithm.
I keep hearing it’s how you’re playing in November. Don’t you want to see the hottest teams? South Carolina is 1 LSU PICK 6 penalty away from being 8-2
I do agree with this. I think South Carolina with how they're playing lately should 100% be in consideration for one of those final spots. They're a lot of fun to watch and they run HARD
Penn state deserves to drop. They are barely getting by teams they should destroy “if” they were the a top 5 team. They don’t deserve the spot they have, no quality wins
So, Boise beats 2-8 Wyoming by 4 points and SMU beats non-bowl eligible Virginia soundly and you think the committee will jump them over UGA and UT who admittedly both played cupcakes, but who beat them by 38 and 56 respectively? Why do they jump Georiga and Tennessee? From 7 down it will go UGA 7, UT 8, UI 9, SMU 10, Boise 11, Alabama 12. Indiana falls below UGA and Tennesee because they have 1 less loss rather than 2 less losses and have not beaten a single bowl-eligible team while UGA beat Texas, Clemson, and Tennesee (really, does you model place just zero value of strength of schedule, becuase if it places any value on it at all how can UGA be 10 and behind Boise and SMU - what are you looking at?) and Tenessee beat Alabama.
no way you put alabama and ole miss above clemson, i understand clemson may not be %100 legit but clemson is 9-2 and ole miss and alabama are 8-3. if you think that your high…
The Clemson one to me is the biggest question mark. I thought they were dead in the water after their loss to Louisville, they're being handed an enormous opportunity here
The gamecocks havent waltsed in. We have 3 L' to teams who were all ranked. Lost to LSU by 3, bama by 2. Ole miss wore us out. We're on a 5 win streak. We blew out oaklahoma, texas a&m, beat Missouri then the easy wofford win. Gamecocks have earned that spot, more so than clemson has.
4 SEC teams ranked in the top 12. Ridiculous, that conference is trash this year! And don't tell me they are simply beating each other up. Won't buy it.
But they are? They are literally losing to each other. Sounds like the sec actually has talent spread out while the big ten still only has Ohio state. Thankfully y’all brought in Oregon to spice things up. Now Ohio state actually has to work for something for once.
Whoever created this algorithm needs to not create another.
you telling me three teams ranked above Georgia lose this weekend and they don't move up an inch?? I think we need to tweak that algorithm.
Yeah that's insane. Boise St won by 4 against 2-8 Wyoming and leapfrogs UGA and Tennessee??? Common sense and SEC bias are clearly missing from this algorithm
This guy is delusional gamecocks strength of schedule is 10. If they had a ACC schedule they would of won
This dude and his algorithm are clueless lol
Why would penn st. Jump Texas. Penn st. Struggled with Minnesota and Texas handled Kentucky.
This list is ridiculous, if you think Georgia is staying at #10 you’re crazy
Yea gamecocks will be at 13 or 14
No reason penn state is going to jump Texas. You say Texas struggled against Kentucky (bad third quarter for sure) but we handled a Kentucky team that has given good teams fits. Penn state definitely struggled against a very mediocre Minnesota, yet you give them credit for it
And Penn St barely beat Minnesota wtf 😂
Yeah you’re off. UGA won’t stay at 10.

Miami controls their destiny for ACC

I hope you aren't using the same software to manage your checking account, you'll be broke soon.
What is this algorithm? Is this your creation? I have Georgia at 6 and Alabama 14, Ole Miss 17. Georgia clinched for SEC Championship.
indiana shouldnt even be in there theyve played noone and when they finally did they got destroyed. i hope they play an SEC team first round if they stay in and show how they dont belong. would love to see them in an SEC schedule.
Boise State barely beats a 2-8 team and you move them up 3 spots? Whatcha smoking?

Penn State is well overrated. That is a team that could not score an offensive Touchdown against Ohio State. At least Indiana rushed for a TD.

Why didn't Ohio State LeapFrog Oregon like Ohio State got leapfrogged when they were off
I guess u took stenght of scedule complelty out of it.

Gamecocks 100% should be in consideration. I'm just shocked from where they were a few weeks ago to where they are now. Enormous opportunity for them
