for the scooper part, i always thought that when you hold the ice cream the hand turns into the scooper and does the thing, it would make more sense because the kid might run away after taking the ice cream.

Well it kinds of depends because in this AU what scrap baby is using are the claw of circus baby that used to scoop Elizabeth yet the ice cream scooper are like to small for Elizabeth's neck unless it's like the size of Elizabeth's neck, but in this AU william designed another claw for circus baby, he thought that most children after taking the ice cream they would walk away and the ice cream scooper can't reach them so... He made it even the children are like far enough like 3m away from her the claw can reach them
