Maybe some potential, but needs a lot of interior renovations to make it look not so outdated. Some good points, but overall it looks like my grandparents’ homes . I grew up in central Michigan though throughout the 80’s and 90’s, and spent a lot of time on Mackinaw then, as well as to this day. Even though I’ve lived in central Florida now for 26 years. It can be touristy at times or on the main drag through town, and I miss the seasonal employees actually being mostly from Michigan too. Today they mostly come up from Caribbean locations each year, and don’t have that local connection or knowledge like they used to. But overall I still love Mackinaw. Especially in the evenings, nights, and early mornings when the “fudgies” have taken the ferries back. I still have a nice Cannondale bike that I bought on Mackinaw in 1995, at the last shop that actually sold bikes and didn’t just rent them. I miss the J.L.Beanery coffee shop right on the harbor’s edge too.
Money does not buy you a home on Mackinaw Island ... you have to be vetted by the other residents to even be considered to be allowed to buy a home there
What a fun family home. Bet the kids have a rip roaring good time. There is so much to do on that island.

That is patently untrue.
