I know a few gardeners that simply allow their plants to self-sow for the following years. Me on the other hand tend to my herbs; constantly thinning, pruning as well as harvesting seeds. Seed harvesting because they are for following years to come as well as for cooking and baking.
Perfect timing because I’m struggling with my dill.
You want a lot of heads if you can pickles!!
Leave some seeds on the plants to feed the birds and chipmunks, etc. and to regrow new plants when the seeds fall to the ground.
I have tried so many times to get dill in the box but unfortunately every time I grow them after a month they die. I don’t know what is wrong with my growing.
Dill needs a lot of water
