Just remember, this whole story started because Katniss was trying to protect Primrose… yet she still died anyway. Really quite heartbreaking. Her breakdown gets me everytime.
Katniss's meltdown after Primrose died breaks my heart every time. An absolutely heartbroken heroine shouting at the top of her lungs out of grief was brilliantly written and performed. I've personally been at that level of grief where you just wanna shout at the top of your lungs as you bawl your eyes out. It feels just like what Katniss did. Also, Gale was indirectly responsible for Primrose's death, since he was the one who came up with the idea for the bombs that got dropped. FULL blame goes to Coin and her ulterior motives. She wanted Snow out of the way so she could take over as the dictator of Panem. Also, RIP to Phillip Seymour Hoffmann. I can't picture other actor who could play Plutarch any better.
Interesting fact. When Haymitch read the letter to Katniss., it was supposed to be Phillip Seymour but he sadly passed before they shot that scene. Also.. We need a Finnick back story movie. Also. "There are worst games to play" is an underrated line delivered perfectly by Jennifer Lawrence
What Snow said to katniss about Coin. *You were watching me and I was watching you but no one saw what coin was doing* . It reminded me of the part one ending when everyone in the audience is concerned about peeta going all feral and crazy. Only a few realized that while they were showing us that Coin was making her speech and she started to sound like a dictator
this except from the end of the book always gets me 😢 Peeta and I grow back together. There are still moments when he clutches the back of a chair and hangs on until the flashbacks are over. I wake screaming from nightmares of mutts and lost children. But his arms are there to comfort me. And eventually his lips. On the night I feel that thing again, the hunger that overtook me on the beach, I know this would have happened anyway. That what I need to survive is not Gale's fire, kindled with rage and hatred. I have plenty of fire myself. What I need is the dandelion in the spring. The bright yellow that means rebirth instead of destruction. The promise that life can go on, no matter how bad our losses. That it can be good again. And only Peeta can give me that. So after, when he whispers, "You love me. Real or not real?" I tell him, "Real."
Good movie. I know that y'all already figured this out but Coin would have been worst than Snow. Because she was playing everybody from the beginning including Katness. And in the end, Snow finally got the last laugh against Coin when he told Katness the truth about Coin's real intentions knowing that she would kill Coin which is why he was laughing at the end.

Donald Sutherland is such a pride for our little province of New-Brunswick, Canada. Such a great actor. Now if you watched "The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes" You see alot of things differently in Katniss' movies... The Hanging Tree song being used as an Anthem for the rebellion when it was banned from playing because of its rebellious lyrics. The fact that Katniss reminded alot of Lucy Gray with their very visible hate towards the capitol and the games, both refusing to kill until they had to. Except for Lucy who poisoned someone even tho it wasnt the one she meant to. There's also the fact that Lucy Gray loved to go to the lake, same place Katniss' father was bringing her to swim. Both are good singers, atleast in the books.. So no wonder Snow hated Katniss and wanted her dead so much. She was basically Lucy reincarnated lol
While it is understandable, it is also hard to forgive when his plan resulted in Prim’s death - even though he didn’t set it in motion (that was Coin). His need for revenge & military success chipped away his heart and compassion. Katniss could never see anything but Prim’s murder when she looked at Gale, so any relationship became impossible. Katniss needed the warmth and compassion that Peeta offered to heal. It took her years of Peeta’s love and care to be willing to have children. Some don’t like the ending, but I find it hopeful.
@@genny5309it’s what Katniss was warning him about. He was using his his skills with snares to apply it to human beings. Whilst Katniss understood she was killing human beings in the arena and thinks about what she’s done, Gale viewed it from a tactical advantage in war. He wasn’t considering the impact of killing people.

Metropolitan Area Outer Underground Discharge Channel in Japan was also among the filming locations. Not cool to gratuitously insult Jennifer Lawrence's nephew's head.

If you're into testosterone filled nords fighting monsters and you like angelina Jolie, and you like movies that aren't too great but also aren't too bad. Then boy do I have the movie for you. Introducing beowulf. Point is it's a movie I would like to see you watch.
