I live in Australia where littering comes with a heavy fine, so there isn't much littering apart from areas where people don't really give a damn or respect the environment. Most people don't smoke here, but those who do are not allowed to litter their cigarette butts or toss them out of a car window. Littering causes animals to suffer, makes a place literally look trashy, and cigarette butts cause fires !
