In this collection of patches, it is a very simple guitar - cable - amp based sound set based with the nuance of the UK vintage style amp tone with minimal edits to best express the structure of a tune as it progresses. The clean tones are based on the nuance of the legendary Roland JC-120 combo amplifier in simple, but for diverse use. Well, for some reason looking at you I can only think of a young Korean,,,,, Albert Lee! Wow What great playing & the dang ME 80 does have some tones going on.

Dear BOSS Japan, I would like to leave a suggestion here that I hope you will consider including into your next design features for the latest ME unit that are you are yet to release.
I am a guitarist that has been playing for 19years - starting at 10, so I hope you will take my input as, informative.
- Firstly, regarding the LED feature you did for the JHS+BOSS Angry Driver pedal (which I finally tested today! Top pedal (y) ) when selecting the Parrely, B>J and, J>B. . . The light becomes violet/purple (Because of the pedal colours, JHS (Red light) and the BOSS (Blue light) ) This feature would be incredibly useful when using the ME-80 in improv sessions - Or are trying to create a whole new patch when doing studio work. . . e.g. Channel 1 select Acoustic (AC sim), light goes yellow, Channel 2 Blues Drivers (BD) light goes blue, Channel 3 Tremelo (TR), lights goes green, Channel 4 Delay (DD), light goes white - and so on :)
- Channel 4 new loop feature is such a treat! and has evolved the unit to a whole new realm than its predecessor - especially in manual mode, but the only thing is that if you decide to utilize the loop in session, you lose ALL those delay (and multiple channel) sounds, and that is such a shame because there are so many possibilities when recording Live/Studio or just doing improv. . . . . . If you included a loop unit (Dual pedals) like the one on the GT100, in my opinion, it would take the BOSS ME series into a place unprecedented . . . For me, it would become the ultimate ME unit, as an artist that has been using your products for 19years, it would be one of the most advanced Multi-Compact pedal units of the 21st century...
- And one final feature I would put forth - A knob to the left of the pre-amp section, that allows the user to choose Between; Off/1x12"/2x12"/4x12" (Or speaker sizes you find to be of optimal choice, Single/Combo/Stack options) and there would be no need for any additional pedals. Simply on/off.

BOSS FZ-5 (Epic, I create my own new sounds using this with the ME-80)
BOSS OC-2 (Classic, First Boss Pedal from 2003)
Boss GE-7 (Necessary, for modifying my sound wave length)
Boss ME-80 (Game Changing)
And something most won't know of;
Roland Bolt 100, an amp of yours I would like information for please as there is little to Zero information about your ULTIMATE Valve Hybrid - Valve Power Amp, an amp so powerful that the stock Roland speaker of the time blew after 1 year of use, an amp so rare, all the internet tells us is that it was made for 5years and then, Roland BOSS focused your development in solid state design.
I run my sound effects through the Bolt clean channel, and the sound it creates is unlike anything else I have ever heard in clarity - please search Skolliez in Spotify, the album was recorded using the gear I just stated. . . . . . The song ' Over the Ocean ' has a solo that uses the Bolt clean Channel and its Classic! Built in Spring Reverb (2x12"Jensen&12"Goodman Loudspeaker cab) . . . The resonance is something I have yet to hear on anything else, Peavey, Marshall, Boogie, Vox, Orange, and so on.
I've been able to start gigging and jamming in live sessions again - after the Lockdown!!!
And Have something more to add - if it actually get's taken to heart . . . The GX-100 is great but not what I would reach for if I'm looking for a Multi-effect pedal, the ME is just the OG!
1) Add an additional EQ/FX2 Channel - EQ2/FX3 ?? . . . Why? Because If I want to use Defretter + Comp + Octave , I just cannot because they are all restricted to the same channel, or Rotary + Overtone + Uni-V/Flanger I also cannot because they are all tied to a single channel . . . . It sounds absurd but I've been able to create some otherworldly tones with looping those effects ontop of each other, so being able to combine the effects through an additional EQ2/FX3 option and a revised EQ/FX2 is GREAT!
2) Even if you didn't add a knob for Single/Combo/Cab speaker option, a selector switch at the back of the ME Successor would be just as affective when working with the ME unit.
This is just my opinion as a long time BOSS/Roland user - Who knows if you take customer feedback seriously, I hope you do!!
As I am sure I'm not the only user out there waiting to see what the next ME is going to be - can't believe it will be 9 years since the ME-80 was released . . . Nothing against the Digital interfaces of the GX100/GT100/GT1000, but they just aren't as practical for a musician working in a live setting away from the computer.
