Thank you for the information. I had a parotid gland tumor removed on the right side under my ear. I was wonder why my jaw joint hurt so bad when I tried to chew. I see by your diagram that the jaw muscle must have been cut. Blessings.
What about aggressive prostate cancer that has been fed perineurally and connects to the paraphyngeal soft tissue. ULCERATIONS ON THE FACE THAT FOLLOW THE LAY LINES OF THE FACE NERVES THAT DONT HEAL.
My mother is 87 yrs old, she has one that is 10 cm and will be removed bt Dr. Yarah Haidar, MD who I adore, on 4/17 not sure yet if it will be removed through mouth or under her chin as shown, how long do you think these surgery takes in the OR? It was biopsied 3 years ago and was not cancer, but did not remove it then as my mom was worried about the time under anesthesia, we were told then 13 hr surgery, but it has slowly gotten bigger this year, so she wants it out.
