William is doing a fantastic job of looking after the sheep, that's one very clever young man. The sheep look happy and healthy. The babies are absolutely beautiful 💞
Good job Will! I keep my ram separate. He is with the ewes for 45 days in the fall when they naturally come into heat. Then my lambing season is less than 45 days. Works well for our weather here in Nebraska.
My friwnd Sandy keeps the rams seperate and she ciders the Ewes so they all come into heat at the same time.and them she lets the ewes come into heat a couple times and she only does like 50 to 75 ewes in each group seperately so its not so hard when they lamb together. She does an awesome job with her sheep and she is not so exhausted when the sheep lamb.bc she seperates the groups at different months.
I do Nubian goats. I keep my buck in year round but I keep him in an apron until I want him to breed. Then I know when they are due. You could use an apron on your ram and keep him with the flock but control breeding that way.
Great video, William, you are doing an amazing job. Do you have a "spreadsheet" for your genetics etc? Blessings from San Diego. Hello to all your family.
Excellent job caring for your flock William! This is my friend that also raised Katahdin sheep if you want to check out her channel. ua-cam.com/video/xeMLbG4HlI4/v-deo.html
Dad, you also deserve a lot of praise. You did an excellent job sharing information of the care and breed of your sheep.
William is a fine young man. So responsible and seems to be so knowledgeable about his job. So proud of William.
William, what a great job, you are such a kind and hard working young man. The sheep look so healthy and beautiful. God bless.🙏

Great job William taking care of the sheep I love the brown ones but all the babies are sweet all looking great too. Do you sell your babies?
We have sold some. However, we mostly raise them for meat.
You just got to love the goat photobombing the video😍😆❣❣❣❣❣
Brrrrr 🥶 great job William!
William fantastic job! So do you all use the wool from the sheep?
No they are hair sheep so they are primarily for meat.
Spinning and weaving the wool?
No they are hair sheep. Not known for wool products, more of a meat sheep
what would be the smallest size heard can you start with.
You could start with a ram and two ewes
Is your ram aggressive towards you at all? We have been debating between goats/sheep of which we want to do.
No we have had 3 primary Rams over the years and they have all been great
I would not keep the ram with the sheep untill nov/dec then out again for April kids
Sorry I commented on wool before the video got to that point.
There beautiful sheep they don't seem very sociable..
Your ears are getting more red as you are out there longer
Excellent job caring for your flock William!
