I have a turtle story. When my granddaughter was playing t ball, the kids used to go to a ditch to look for turtles. On my way to practice there was a turtle in the driveway. I picked it up to move it and decided to take it for the kids to see. TWENTY years later, Turquoise is the happiest turtle ever. She sleeps in an aquarium and loves to interact with people. Her favorite special treat is cheese puffs! 😁

Maybe put her in the yard daily. They are used to be very mobil and traveling distances. She would really enjoy it! Strawberries are great treat! Yummy canned cat food and leafy greens and vegetables are great for her. With my Vet Med background have worked with many pet and wild turtles. And had one myself. My Gina Turtle and my Tansy Cat were the best buddies. They would both be at the sliding door to go out to hang out in the back yard together. (Gina was a type of Turtle that only went to the bathroom in water so she had free range of the house with access to a little pool that I set up for her in the house) They are great personalities! Most ppl have no idea❤

    I loved the turtle shots.
Where I live in the UK we have ideal Blueberry soil, and in fact, we have wild bilberries growing around here. The smaller cousin to Blueberries, and very popular locally. Often picked for making pies, crumbles, jam, and recently, a local farm (that makes its own ice-cream) started making an ice-cream with some local bilberries in the early summer months, which sells out very quickly.
So for me it was easy to add a couple of Blueberry plants to some containers in my garden late last year, and they're already showing promising signs of fruit production. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
I saw the community post about the bus being down for repairs. It's been a real workhorse for you, so not really surprising it needs some tlc every now and then. I'm hoping there are no delays beyond your control with getting replacement parts, and that you'll be up to full speed soon.
    Stay safe, everyone. ❤

Just found your channel, loving it!
I am 2 season ahead of you on my blueberries. A couple of things I have learned.
For future, pull any flowers off your berries the first maybe even the second spring and you will help your plant establish itself.
Peat moss is a great start but will not get your soil acidic enough. You must buy a ph tester or send your soil samples off to the co-op or local university. Trust me your soil needs to be below 6 but at 5 it's probably more optimal. If you want to be organic cotton meal is your ph friendly fertilizer. You can get it at coop stores.
And lastly a cheap way to fill up your garden bed is to chunk a ton of smaller already breaking down sticks and even logs in the bottom before adding the top 8 inches of soil.
    Looking forward to more videos.

Just an FYI tip (learned it as a kid from my farming relatives at our family farm) When planting or transplanting plants, fill the hole you dig for the plant with water before you put the plant in. It's a bit more messy, but makes the transition easier on the plant💕❤

One thing you might consider is to use Pine Needles or Pine Bark Mulch around your blueberries. We have been growing them for the past 17 years, and found that they love pine needles or chunky pine bark. It adds just the right amount of acidity to the soil and doesn't overdo it. Other than that, use a good organic fertilzer, like Espoma Berry Tone, and they'll do fine.
