1:12 I like how here it seems like Mighty.ZIP is mocking Oswald about his luck, telling him "This screen's the last you'll EVER see!" in a bout of giving him false hope that this'll be the last attempt on his own life. Just goes to show how the poem still hits hard even though it's in a different context this time around.

I love how D-Side means having a character that’s similar to the original, putting together a slightly different remix from the real song and have a little poem near the end.
The poem part isn't necessarily a d side thing it's a mighty thing cuz he speaks in rhymes and it was his version of Exe's "I'm gonna getcha. I am God" line. The d side is essentially a high effort remix but the poems aren't a d side thing just inspired from mightys character which is way cooler
D-sides designs work like: make them look like theyre a bit tougher/softer than their og counterpart (but not so much), if the character is based on an existing character, and there is another similar enough character, then base the character dside design around that other character (example: Edd from eddsworld, eduardo looks like him, thus, a dside edd would look like eduardo)
It's not "near the end" it's actually mid-song for the lines

I was thinking the exact same thing. I've seen quite a few Mighty.zip covers that use fanmade vocals that sound like garbage, and some of them do actually use the official ones but it just sounds... bad.

It's kinda funny how the rhymes that they say manage to build some sort of context for this cover. Like even if Oswald talks about how badly he wants to die due to loneliness, Mighty.ZIP tries to encorage him even more with how cold hearted he is to him, those lines standing out the most being "Cuz Pandora didn't listen" inplying how Oswald found out that *us* the viewers forgot about his existence when he shoudn't in the first place, and once Oswald shoots himself "The screen is the last he'll ever see"
they're like: Finally, a worthy opponent.

The first one feels like Oswald’s lines, only changed up the words and more towards his witness.
The 2nd one however feels more like recalling an ancient tale that led to everything going wrong while being self aware

I'mma be honest, having FNF songs with parts that have proper lyrics integrated in between vocal parts is a new high for song templates as a whole, at least in my opinion. It's done really great in both standalone mods these two are from.
