      It still doesnt justify the cost since the person making it is living a low standard life, they dont really compensate the high price for his salary and health benefits. Its human culture that makes it expensive, an accessory to publicly display your wealth

      at the end of the video when he's working the pattern into the earrings, he's shaving away some of the gold. this is how gold dust gets all over the shop, a small amount gets turned to dust with every jewellery crafted.

    How do you measure the purity of gold recovered from dust ?

    • @user-me8px7zg1y
      @user-me8px7zg1y 2 роки тому +23

      He already knew that the dust has gold and silver inside and junk metals and dust so he separated the dust leaving the metals in the plate then put a good amount of silver and melt it together and poured nitric acid that doesn't attack gold but it attacks all other metals making them soluble to water ( silver was added to make the gold concentration low so it wont block the nitric acid and it's also easy to recover in the end ) so the final product is pure gold that method is not new btw it's used in every company that extracts gold so I hope that solves you questions :)

    Creating Alchemy extracting minerals from different elements and properties and making gold. Creating gold may not be as elusive a task as is presented. It maybe all in how you break down the elements into their small trace components. Elements that produce gold are everywhere it's in the breaking down and pulling those things together to make gold. I love it great video and love the earrings too. 💯
