It's really common that japanese people don't wear the dresses without a top underneath. They usually don't like to show too much cleavage or skin!
@@c.currenti9906 you're right, even rebellious looks have layers! They have so many styles from neo-traditionalist to gyaru but it's true that anything with a lot of skin is considered lewd, though that IS a style for some rare few. When I went there (it was just turning to winter) but it did not feel cold for me so I was wearing a crop top and a skirt. I did get many looks but a young shop attendant asked if I was a model 😅
This reminds me of the 90's. We would wear long sleeved shirts under our sun dresses when it started to get colder.

And I took note of the way she did that highlighter very poignantly. So great.
Just what I needed. Soft voices, calm, gentle touches, fluffy brushes. Perfection. And this lady knows that less make up is better than too much. Soft touches! That's better for your colouring.
Less make up is not better than too much! It depends on what you want to achieve, makeup artistry usually uses a lot of product but it doesn't make it any less beautiful, it's just a matter of what you want to do ☺️

I love the makeup ASMR. I have been very interested on how Japanese do their natural makeup look. I love the fact that what the makeup artist do is something that audience can follow in real life.
I've seen this in a couple of your videos now, where the service provider asks the customer to mutually take care of each other during the service. (paraphrasing) "Please take care of me while I take care of you." I think that is a lovely introduction which establishes the need for mutual respect among customers and service providers. I wish we, in North America, would adopt a similar introduction into the service culture. So wonderful. Love all your videos and find them very relaxing. Thank you :)

Not every make-up artist is so gentle and caring. I've had a couple who just seemed like they were in a rush and wanted it to be over with. Not relaxing at all....
