Since I've never cared for summer, and love our Autumn's, especially in New England... Ideally, I need to head towards the southern hemisphere every year!

Nah! I just work to save up the money! A year in Antarctica allows you to save up quite a bit ☺️
Any plans for another winterover. Also what happened to your friends trying to go to Antarctica. Did that make them spend 2 weeks at cristchurch.
Maybe next year, but if so, just at McMurdo. Not South Pole again. And as far as I understand, a lot of them weren’t able to go down in general. They had to convince people that were already there to stick around for the winter. Haha.
@@GoneVenturing lucky you weren't stuck down their for 2 years in a row. Mcmurdeo winterovers are different from what I heard you need to move around outdoors more. But that's coming from a person that has never been in the southern hemisphere.
NZ will be ideal country to do campervan for sure . Just have to watch for those pesky possums . They are pretty good at getting into things
