Thanks! How did you find the key? I am a beginner in Jazz and figured out the chords, but from the solo I thought it would be Em and Emaj because he also plays a lot G# in it. I still struggle to find keys if its not a straight 2-5-1 or something alike.
@@thefullspectralmethod1340 I am learning as well. However, what I've found is that the key of a progression or song is often a range and it is really up to you to get a sense of the tonal center of the song. I noticed that Doctor Mix was playing the note "D" alot in his solos.
@@aakash9058 Thanks for the reply. Once the chord progressions leave the diatonic realm and if no dominant chord is present, I find it really hard to get the key.
You can play eminor as well...key is based on your perspective!

Wasn't the challenge to compose an own piece of music and not just play an existing song? Anyone with a synth can do that in 4 minutes. Kebu at least composed a track.

Would be every day little great moment if you made one each day, same principle or changing a parameter sometimes. It could be a music style, a song 'in the manner of'... This one is cool.
About me creating my only Roland gear is a Boss RC20 looper (if Boss is considered Roland), are every workshop and kitchen tools allowed ? (Remembering STOMP ! :-) )

As soon as you played those chords it was obvious what it was. If anyone didn't get it then, then when you played those Hi-Hats that defo nailed it for those not sure. If no-one got or understood what it was, you need to research your Pop music history. Epic Pop song

The Roland fantom isvgreat. I have a kronos that is i think superior but ifvif i had to choose a second synth or workstation i would pick the roland. I know the roland sound as i owned the xp60 . This was a great workstation as well.

I tried to play along but used for the base Korg M1 perc. organ; sounds fairly ok
