James seemed totally sober at the end. Can’t wait for this series, love watching you three.
Once again the the intrepid three amigo's ride again. Safe journey guys, looking forward to this one.
Haha the last scene! Haha superb. Can’t wait for the adventures and the banter on this trip. I think we all appreciate that pulling these vids together while riding every day is hard, so keep at it!
i've rewatched your vietnam and australia videos in the first lockdown and you suggesting to rewatch them in todays video made me want to do that again. a reminder of how good life can be and will be in the future. cheers
good times will come soon!!
@@Cade_Media ahhhh, someone from the new video as well. Forgot how young James looked, and also Francis's hair
Lawrence? James Francis Lawrence? I'm going to call this one, "Saving Private Lawrence."
Paul Angeloff well james is a bike fitter
Fantastic start to Vietnam god knows how Vietnam will survive you three😎👍🇦🇺
Thank you Francis, James and Lawrence for documenting this cool trip.
I've been following your channel for months, but not before the pandemic. Well done, it looks as if you blokes completed this trip at an excellent time.
I'm a bit spoilt to have not found you until now, I can binge all these trips in one go, its awesome stuff.
thanks!
Rewatching this series, quality trip. You 3 just work, and it’s great to watch
Im a massive fan of good cinematography and your videos have some beautiful shots.
Finally ,, all the best Francee ,, here setting with full support until the end of project ,, wish there is thump up can be given from each individual , keep safe you and rest of the team and enjoy the trip
Stumbled on your channel and was pleasantly surprised that yall did a trip to my hometown! You and Dustin Klein inspired me to actually save up and switched out my motorbike for a Specialized!
It's here! (The Vietnam trip) it's an early Xmas present!
Good luck boys and keep a close eye on those bikes!
I really miss those types of videos Francis !
Cardboard boxes (as well as tin cans and other recyclables) are collected by low income people (some homeless). They take them to the processing plants and exchanging them for money
I can't wait to see you guys navigating the morning rush hour traffic out of Hanoi. The only place where I ever saw a traffic jam made 100% of mopeds was in Saigon 15 years ago. Happy Cycling!
Saigon has not got any better, more cars on the road, so jams are more often than not. Still, love cycling through the city.
Safe travels. Will be watching the whole way.
As I recall, James did mention, in an earlier video, that he was going to put a Pirate Ship on the back of Lawrences' bike ;-) Safe travels gents!!
Finally getting to watch these, so good man, wanna travel again so badly!!!
"Before that, we need to go to the pub." Exactly right
Love your bike set-up, Francis. Enjoy the journey, fellas. Thanks for taking us along with you!
Thanks for the great insight into cycling in Vietnam! I'll be moving there with my wife soon and plan on doing a lot of cycling there :)
Cannot wait to follow this journey with you guys. Good luck and stay safe.
I loved following your adventures in Oz and I know this will be another epic one. Stay safe boys and have fun x
slick bike Francis - have a safe trip guys - good video and Lawrences are awesome as well. James sure has plenty to say :-)
Love these videos. Forced to live vicariously through your trips until I'm able to pull one-off. Safe travels and looking forward to the updates.
Wish we could have had a run down of James' bike as well! Just for inspirations sake.
I'm with you on the veg for this trip! Good luck the three of you 👍🏻
Great adventure guys, good time to escape the English winter. Hoi An is a beautiful quiet beach town would be a nice for a rest day and check the place out (and go to the beach). Probably one of my favourite places in Vietnam. safe travels should be good viewing.
Best of luck fellas, looking forward to the videos to come 👍🏻
Brilliant guys, been looking forward to this and it’s finally happening, safe journey all 👍🙂
Looking forward to the Vietnam vids, and the subsequent podcast series documenting the events in further detail 👍👍
I absolutely love your videos. The bike fit one on knee pain actually helped me find a solution to the knee pain I thought I had for life.I have now booked a full bike fit at James' shop. I loved Vietnam when I went and you are 100% right about how lovely the people are. I just want to ask what is the thing that looks like it might be a laptop case on the side of one of your Tailfins? Looks like it might be a good thing for my commute. I already have the Tailfin Aeropack so it would fit perfectly. Thanks so much and keep up the vids.
Gooooooooood morning! I love looking at the world through your lens, Francis. That rooftop looked fuckin' ideal. Sweating in November. Yes.
Enjoy your trip Francis, look forward to your vlogs👍🚴
EXCELLENT vid mate. Looking forward to following your journey.
Looking fwd to this trip lads place looks crazy excited for rest of videos. Tk you
Finally the vietnam video is out!! No more boring lunch time during my night shift👌
So, I have just come across your channel, loving the content. Have literally just binge watched all the projects and more! You need to come up to Cumbria and get some footage on the passes.
Safe riding guys! Have an epic trip! 🚴🏻♂️🇻🇳
Hey guys! Do you have your route shown in Komoot? Would be cool to see it there. Awesome trip!
Excited to see how this goes for you guys! Motorbiking there was so beautiful. Hai Van Pass will be stunning!

I’m already strap on my seat for Episode 1 !! It’s gonna get crazy more !!
Been looking forward to this! Have a great trip guys, stay safe 👍👍
thanks!
I think the phrase James was looking for was ulterior motive not ultimatum. There may have been a couple of beers drunk at this point..! 🤣🍻👍
Just a couple

Bon Voyage, I can't wait to live out this trip vicariously via UA-cam.
I absolutely love that country. Spent four months there over the summer. Tell Lawrence to go to Shin Ca Phe in Saigon for the best croissants of his life (also great coffee). I'd recommend Workshop coffee for food (pastries and proper food) and coffee as well. Look for good bun cha (not you Francis) as it's for sure one of the great dishes of Vietnam (particularly in the north, so much so that it has it's own style called bun cha hanoi). However, not all are created equal. Spend some of your evenings at bia hois. They're basically open air joints where you drink super fresh, cold, delicious, cheap beer on the street watching the world whiz by. The people are pretty much all amazing (some scammy stuff, but extremely little and far between). Visit Da Lat on your way south. Higher elevation and much cooler year round, and in general just a cool little city. Cheers guys! Have fun!
Thanks for these tips!
4:27 Thank you for the bag information on the bicycle handle. 자전거 핸들에 가방 정보 감사합니다.
That is one hell of a bike setup
Good luck guys & stay safe. More south you go people will get even nicer ;) do check the Nha Trang & Cu Chi tunnels near Saigon
Safe travels.
💥 boom the boys r back together for another whirl wind adventure ,,,, bit like buzz woody slinky 🤣
Feels weird Chris not being here buying jelly snakes..... Please shout out Chris!
The bike is sick! This one is going to be good!
And the adventure begins.... well jealous of those spin wheels. Oooof.
You are the top gear of cycling......prizes for who's who....
hey mate did you do a video on the bikes you used....stay well
You guys give Lawrence so much shit lmao. safe travels gentlemen
Woohoo, mount up boys! If this trip is anything like Australia, we are in for a treat. Enjoy! (and send lots of photos😂😂😂😂)
Safe trip chaps, have a blast 👍
Helloo, epic trip. I wish You guys smooth roads and good food.
Can’t wait for this, have a safe one 👍🏻
Starting this series again for an annual viewing party lol
You three in Vietnam? what could possible go wrong. L seems to be missing his cactus already? Have fun and safe adventure.
nice bike set up
Literally got back from driving a motorcycle through Viet Nam today. If I can give you guys one tip: avoid the QL1A like the plague
9:36 .. James drunk AF - He's even doing that drunk finger pointy thing
Hanoi is nuts!
Drunk James. Always value for money! :)
Been looking forward to this
And so it begins!
@Francis: very interested in your verdict of the DJI osmo Action camera. From the footage I saw on UA-cam the stabilization is similar to the GoPro Hero 7 but the movement while cornering looks a little out of line (leaning angle from bike, corner and picture on GoPro looks more natural).
Safe riding boys 👍🏼👊🏼✌🏼
I'm jealous... I want to go to Vietnam too!
Drunk James is my favourite thing
If you ever visit us again, please remember to join traffic (be it walking or cycling) with the mentality that everyone is out there to kill you. Granted we are a very hospitable bunch, but not when one is on the road....
Green light: Go
Yellow light: Go Faster
Red light: See if there's any traffic police around. If not, Go Fastest.
Where did you leave your bicycles when you not around?
Great episode 1.
May the the wind be at your back and in Lawerence's Sails.
That's it I'm hooked this is going to be great !
What do you guys do about locking your bikes? Cafe lock or something a bit more heavy duty?
Nothing, we always keep them close by/in sight!
Just keep walking don’t stop and DEFINITELY DONT STEP BACKWARDS when crossing the road
HERE WE GO!
Turn the bottles 90 degress to make them more aero?
Hanoi was not at all what I expected... will be interesting to see the rest of the country and if the wealth ends there.
do you actually go through all that water between stops?
Looks like it’s going to be an epic trip, where did the guys get the aeropack extender from
Direct from the guys at Tailfin!
Francis Cade cheers! Have an epic trip look forward to watching this, Vietnam looks a stunning country to visit!
Francis you mentioned that you took put your SIM card .Do you have to sign up for a new carrier in Vietnam to avoid paying high rates?
7:30 what is the brand of that filtration bottle and a link where I can buy one?

Every city needs a roof top bar.
99 bottles Of beer on the wall *clink* 😂
