Stephen Carlson is one of the few guitarists I've heard really capture the spirit of Blackmore (much harder to pull off than most would imagine, RB is truly archetypical)...I would still like to see Jorn hook back up with Jorn Lofstad...but, he's proggin Pagans Mind these days.

+Kristina Takaneva He is much more than that. He makes the songs his own which is what real singing is all about. He is no Karaoke singer. This dude is the real deal and does the tunes better than the original in some cases. Try the DIO album if you haven't had a listen. Your comment is just as valid as mine by the way. Music is about coming together , not separation, ENJOY! The band is a bit softer than I would like too Kristina but it brings his voice to the front of the pack!
+Johnny jr I know Johnny. I do own most of the stuff he's ever done and seen him live several times. But what he lacks in my opinion is good melodic songs. My favorite album is Spirit Black. I am also fond of the newish Dracula album.
But he really is a beast doing covers!
You should listen to Beyond Twilight - The Devil's Hall Of Fame. That's one hell of an Album with some of Jorn's best singing ever, in my opinion

The 420'th LIKE is mine
His voice is very beautiful and he is the only one today that could fill the blanks. I have all his albums, but his voice isn't huge as much as Ronnie James Dio and David Coverdale, and that song doesn't fits his voice too much because it needs a long deep breath. Rock on Jorn and keep on making cover singles and solo albums.

Jorn sounds like an hyped, much more powerful version of Coverdale. An insane combination of Dio, Coverdale and Benny Mardones (anybody knows him? Check him out). Great guitarist, Mr.Hansen, as well.
