My current crazy game is Middara. Full story to get in to, xp, gold, loot, tactical combat, and dice rolling with mitigation. I'm really liking my playthrough right now. (and I have acts 2 and 3 coming at some point!)
Interestingly there are more games than I thought in my collection that I would never part with. KDM, Spires End, City of Kings, Uprising, Bullet, Super Fantasy Brawl, Wonderlands War, Radlands, Ratcatcher, Cloudspire, Too Many Bones, Townsfolk Tussle, Root. No particular order.
You should also get all the contents for Zombicide Green Horde because they are compatible with Black Plague! And did I mentioned there is a giant ZOMBI UNICORN!
My only keepers from my 137 game collection, no specific order. 1 Leaving Earth with all 3 expansions 2 Britannia - signed by the designer Lewis Pulsipher 3 Manhattan Project - Energy Empire 4 The Gallerist 5 Tannhauser with 6 expansions 6 Yedo - Deluxe Master set 7 Argent - The Consortium 8 Star Trek - Fleet Captains + Dominion expansion 9 Gentes Deluxified 10 Kraftwagen 11 Escape Plan

My newer sale game is The Lord of the Ring TCG made by Decipher. It was my firs deck building game. I feel in love with this game and tray to collect all individual cards. Currently I have all full sets from 1 to 16, but as game is 20 years old it’s very hard to get set 17,18,19. I hope one day this collection will be completed
Brass Birmingham Deluxe Edition, Bruges with expansion, Darwin's Journey KS Edition (when it gets here), Le Havre Complete Edition, Obsession with all Expansions, Targi and The Royal Game of Ur
I think the game that tops my list is Gloomhaven. My wife and I have put a ton of time in and still have a lot that we didn't see during our playthrough. From personal quest missions to the paths we took our first campaign. In fact I think this winter we will be diving back into another campaign to follow the paths we blocked off. I want to do something with all the gear cards like you did with KDM and the binder!
Games that will never leave me...Zombicide black plague/green horde, Great wall...basically everything with painted minies because I invested so much time in them. Otherwise fury of dracula, Shadows over Camelot, Set a watch...
I like my original AEG English copy of Sakura Arms so much despite having the never Lvl 99 version which takes the game undoubtedly to the next level =)
man, well now i feel bad...i don't think i really have a game i wouldnt sell if the price was right (and I'm not talking a million dollars). I guess I just havent found that passion yet. Although, it'd take a lot for me to sell my BSG game. I don't even play it that often (it's been years), but I love BSG and i know it's impossible to find these days. so that'd be my one that the price would really have to be right on.
@@Quackalope Hmmmm I posted a Google Photos link but it looks like UA-cam blocked the comment. Good to know that Google doesn't trust cross-posting to . . . other Google products. Maybe it's a Headmaster's pledge thing, they're both a lovely plum color.
I've played very few of your list since most are from a genre I've never really been drawn to, but you're slowly making me want to play some of these! I totally have the same attachment to Cerebria though, I found it second hand by pure chance when I just started playing a few years ago and it's among the games I'll never sell. This and Spirit of Eden and Dreamers, which are tiny solo and duo games on very limited editions that I really love. Spirits of the Forest is very close too, and I'm happy I bought the deluxe edition for it, although sometimes kickstarters add unnecessary flourish to these, for this game it changes completely the tactile feel when playing, which I love.
I have a few games I would not part with. Any game I have painted. Mice and Mystics, Stuffed Fables, TMNT Shadows of the Past. Aslo Kohaku with Acrylic tiles. My first game purchase, X-men under Siege (need to paint). A couple of gifts. My 2nd game first to be gifted to me was Buffy by my sister. My sister also bought(imported) me a Doctor Who game. So any game that I or family had to import.
Aside from the out of print gems I have like Bus and Tigris & Euphrates, the others would include my copy of Root with everything, including 3D printed buildings for all factions that I've painted, my painted copies of Merchants & Marauders, Sabotage, and Nemesis.
I have been desperately trying to find a KS version of Cthulhu Death May Die for like 2 years now... haven't played it at all but considering the other stuff in the collection, I know I NEED it. T_T Only thing I've come across is its expansion.
I'm sorry for your loss, Jesse! I have that same problem with movies and books. I have had to purchase quite a few books and movies a couple of times because I lose track of who I loaned them to and decide that it would just be easier to purchase a new copy for myself. :D
Always open games for checking components! Many times found that was missing pieces, print problems and even mold. It could be very hard to solve months after buying.
I won’t let anyone get rid of my copies of Nemesis, Nemesis Lockdown, Marvel United, Marvel Zombies, Spirit Island, Mind MGMT, Century Gollum Edition, Mythic Mischief, Foundations of Rome, Moonrakers and Veiled Fate. All of them hit such specific spots for me.
Trickerion is my "never going to leave my collection game" I don't think it's possible for a game to fit me any better, Mechanics, play, Theme, all of it. I don't get it to the table as much as I'd like, because it's a LOT of game, but I'll never not have it.
I really want Container. Also, just got the Mayday Crokinole board. It’s decent enough for what I paid, but if my group keeps enjoying it I may get a Tracy board and gift the mayday to my friend.
During the lockdown my wife and I had another couple that we were in each other's bubble. We played Terra Forming Mars at least 40 times, no word of a lie. I feel like I have explored everything that the game has to offer and I'm not really all that interested in playing ever again
77 GPB for Europa Universalis (1993), posted to Australia. Likely never going to play it, as it is too complex (4.86 on BGG), and too long to play (BGG says 60 hours). As one reviewer put it: unplayable masterpiece.
I love my Big Box of Valeria Card Kingdoms! Like you I have all of it. It was also one of the games that got me more excited about board games and maybe one of the only games in my collection that I have sought out all expansions for. 😊
Just saw Roads & Boats on our local facebook board game sales group and wasn't even baldy priced (70€). Same seller also had Duck Dealer, which I seriously consider ed because of , you know... the pond and stuff :D Gotta keep them quacks coming!
Even if I can't play a game right away, i immediately unbox a game to check if all the pieces are there. Been burned a few times, and with the short timeline for Kickstarter reporting, it's necessary to tear in right away. for games I'll never sell, right now it's got to be Rococo deluxe and Lost Ruins of Arnak. Neither are particularly hard to get, but they have fantastic solo modes and everyone I've played them with have really enjoyed them. And Nemesis. That's never leaving either. 😆
I love how comfortable Shira has gotten and her joy and enthusiasm just always makes me smile. Also great lists! Totally agree with my zombicide! Castles of burgundy won’t technically leave but the current version will probably go away when AR delivers theirs. CDMD never going away. Canvas might depending on if my wife likes it when I finally get her to play it. I don’t think there was anything on either list I wouldn’t happily have in my collection.
Oh… and I technically did play bus with two players once. I was so desperate to table it I convinced a great friend to do it with me. As long as you’ve got people who will legit play both colors to win it still works…
Although I haven't received it yet, I think the Everdell Complete Collection will be that game for me. Isle of Cats will likely never leave, since I've done a lot of investing in deluxifying that game also.

I grew up adoring Advanced Civilization and I just had to own this epic version of the game - So epic in fact that it is practically unplayable outside of conventions. Pax Pamir 2E is the game that will never leave. The Complete Edition of Everdell, when it will come in and Grizzled.

I have a 1st edition container that I have yet to table. Bus is on my “me want” list.
My scythe game is fully deluxified and I would probably never get rid of.
1Starcraft with expansion. 2 War Room. 3Eastern empires . 4. Nations I have 5. Eclipse more but cant think right noe
Terraforming Mars is by far my number one.
I have an excellent storage for Root and all the expansions. My one and only never-leaving game
