Since making this video I have updated the Mark iii to Firmware version 1.2.0 which is meant to have fixed the Auto Focus issues. So I will be posting another video comparison this weekend to see if it's fixed!
Hey Harry looking forward to see your video with the updated Firmware as I am still trying to decided if it's worth buying or not. If they can really fix these AF issues I think it's a great compact camera to own. Great video!

Sheeza Seemab G7x Mark 2 is better atm. Will only change if canon release better firmware which you’d think they would have by now if they could fix it.

I like the mark ii better, it's what i use in my vlogs. i'm not going to feel remiss if i don't have a microphone attached because the sound is good either way.
Does Canon g7x mark ii have Autofocus click noise even when you're keeping it stable and at the same distance from your face ? I just bought mine and that Autofocus click noise is being recorded in Canon's internal audio. I mean, you can hear it in it's audio when the room is totally silentt
Hi can you please help? I have the mark 2. Only issue I have is the clicking sound when cameras auto focus is hunting. So when vlogging is it possible to keep it on auto focus lock? Also I filmed my first vid the other day. Auto sounds ok indoors but I found in post that the footage had a fuzz sound in the background. Not sure why?
good vid got my MII i know he Miii was coming out but i dont regret it now, i think the camera is going to flop! there is little differnce beteeen them and you would have thought that canon would have fixed the auto focus issue in the miii

The only pro with 3 is the fact you can easily attach a microphone otherwise 2 is much better ‼️
Am I blind or does the Mark II have far sharper images when taking video? Was it something in your settings?
It does I seen both at Best Buy and it was waaay better in visual for me

Can the mark 2's colours be easily adjusted and warmed up so they looks more like mark 3's colours?

Good video! My eyes died a bit everytime trying to flick back and forth between both screens but I loved that there was visual comparison :D
There's way more red cast in the skin tones on the mark ii. I prefer the look of the mark iii out of camera.

Hi. What camer would you prefer? Is it Canon eos m100 or the canon g7x mark ii?
BRIGGY's VLOG never used the M100 but I think the general consensus is the G7X ii is a great vlogging camera for that price point.
