Peyton has convinced Lee that Peyton is a frail, scared old man. The truth is, Martin Peyton isn't scared of anyone or anything. He always gets what he wants, one way or another.
Lee cares for no one but himself, it's just that to get hold of power to show Peyton people that what he can be being MP's associate (as in driver) but he is an idiot to believe & trust MP.
@@saisha783 No, Lee does care for Peyton. Having someone who treats him well and whom Lee believes cares for him, has changed him. But yes, it's true, Lee is wrong to trust Peyton.
Wow. Rod confronts Steven over Betty as possible killer. Peyton shows Leslie Harrington's promissory note to Eddie Jacks for $50K to kill Peyton to Lee Weber!
If you take a close look, Peyton is the one who makes mess in everyone's life, he saw that Rodney and Norman are not greedy like their dad, quite contrary, Steven is a talented lawyer, while he is alive,he could write and give out deed honestly and justly to everyone, especially Rod and Norman, once everything would be divided and decided, fight would stop, instead he goes on and on on human chess game and intrigues, he is so old, does not he want to rest at least? Then he brought up terrible daughter and whatever she did, always covered her, instead of being subjective he was bias, after her daughter I do not think he has to criticize anyone on this earth, he has that lovely and funny side but overall, he is not so positive too, makes a lot of trouble Weber tries to go straight and correct his life, now he drags him in murder
@@Leonie-zu8yv I never believed Lee killed Ann. He was tried on nothing but circumstantial evidence. I believe Ann jumped to her death after Hannah was finished with her.
Martin Peyton is a bigger con-artist than Eddie Jacks himself, and that's saying alot! Eddie, at least, has a jaunty personality with more nuanced behavior, i.e., style, flair, panache, along with enormous likeability. Peyton has none of these. Personally, I'm glad Adrienne's gone from the series. I never warmed to her.
A frail old man, Martin is still pulling the strings playing both ends.
A frail, EVIL old man, Martin . . .
Best storyline of the series.

OMG. I did not expect this! I know I shouldn't be surprised but I am. I still a little sorry for Lee because he he genuinely cares for Peyton.

Oh man, Martin Peyton was JR Ewing before Ewing was Ewing!
At that time JR Ewing was still Tony Nelson.(Chuckle!)
Martin is like an evil genie, telling Steven and then Lee, "I'll give you whatever you want."
Which of course he never intended. Mr Peyton is a big fat liar
I actually feel bad for Lee.
Poor Lee. 🥲
DONT DO IT LEE!!
Martin's leukemia remission is ending. He is now back in his wheelchair.

I predicted that Lee would get into this situation.
What a mess!

Lee Webber was already a murder, he killed Ann

Webber got too complacent.
+Sam Edwards Just watching this episode once again, brings back home to me that it was an utter sin to get rid of both Lee & Martin. :-(
