I'm gonna be honest. I like him more than most draft QBs he can throw it over and over. He isn't the most athletic but he's got an arm cannon. He kinda reminds me of like a Joe Flacco of sorts.
McCord has a good frame, strong arm, and isn't afraid to throw into tight windows. He also throws a really pretty spiral. He can make all the throws. I wouldn't be shocked to see him starting games in the NFL within the next 2-3 seasons.
He has a ton of confidence in his arm and one thing he does well that’s not mentioned a lot is, he challenges DBs outside as much as any college QB you’ll see. Not only does he challenge the outside, which you have to do in the NFL, his ball placement outside in the red zone is second to nobody in this draft.
I like McCord a lot He’s a gamer and he throws with nice touch especially on those back shoulder throws. He is being slept on along with his teammate Oronde Gadson II
Kyle McCord isn't getting any run. However he is by far the best QB in this draft. Just look at his stats. His size, manner demeaner and play style remind m of ( dare I say) Tom Brady who was also ignored the year he got Drafted. Come on Berry-please get this guy
The fact McCord couldn't handle pressure of playing at OSU and had to go to weak ACC to play better. How is he going to handle pressure of playing in NFL?
@@Domgrove_5 so that’s not an exact 1 for 1 comparison. There’s certain markets in the nfl where pressure to perform is unreal and other markets you can just play and develop. That’s what it was at Ohio state. The ACC has legit NFL talent btw
McCord will be drafted in the sixth or seventh round. Chargers will more than likely draft a quarterback as both of their backup quarterbacks are free agents.

@@dennistrusty5145 Joe Flacco mention 👀
He is my favorite too, I hope my team drafts him and lets him sit behind a vet for a year or so.
He stares down wideouts way too much but the arm talent is beautiful!
He throws his receivers open and very accurate for tight windows

He is good, 49ers please

I've seen Sanders and Ward make bad decision throws as well. As a matter of fact, he outplayed Ward.

@@LockedOnNFLDraft Absolutely ACC does but everyone always calls it weak and knocks level of play
That's not what happened.
He lost 1 game at Ohio State in 2023 to Michigan.
If I was Bond and Golden I would have stayed to play with Manning
@@Domgrove_5 bond I think should’ve stayed but golden struck while the iron is hot
Even Tom Brady lost some games.
