About the whole “Aang left for 100 years” thing, I don’t want to say TOO much since y’all haven’t gotten to ep.12 yet, but most fans say that Aang probably would have died along with everyone else if he didn’t run away. And if he died, the Fire Nation would target the Water Tribes next, then the Earth Kingdom, until they could finally get another Fire Nation Avatar that they could brainwash into joining them. So basically, if Aang hadn’t run away, things would’ve taken a turn for the worst. I’m not saying his decision was necessarily right, but everything happens for a reason. Plus, he was just a 12 year old kid, no one can really blame him for being scared. When I was 12, I was too scared to ask my teacher if I could use the bathroom. I definitely wouldn’t be able to endure the pressure of saving an entire Nation.
It’s crazy that people see this little kid and immediately go “YO! AVATAR! YOU CAN SOLVE ALL OUT PROBLEMS!!!” Like leave him alone, dude, he’s got a childhood to live and some trauma to process damn
From an outside perspective I can’t be mad at Aang for what happened. Bros a kid, I can’t expect him to deal with all that shit well. If I was living in this world though, I think I’d be a bit pissed off.
Honestly if I was just living in this world without the avatar all that time and lost so many family and friends because the avatars disappeared. And then randomly one day he just shows up wanting to goof around and crap I would be so angry!!! Like wtf where were you dude?!

Yea i agree, Aang cant be a coward just cuz of that. He had no idea he would be stuck for 100 years lol
@@Moon.JellyKat that’s also true! People act like Aang froze himself on purpose, even though it was clearly an accident.
