Вставка

- In this episode John and I talk about how long seeds can lay on the ground without any rain before they dry up and spoil,
And in case you need to re-plant due to lack of rain or maybe the deer have already eaten your food plot down to dirt, how late into the Fall can you re-seed and what are your best choices,
And we talk about how 20’ tall food plot screens are impressive, but what really makes for a high quality visual screen?

I hate to say this but I'm a first timer for food plots, I'm glad I'm not the only failure this year. What a terrible summer to try your first food plot. I planted twice just prior to rain had germination on the sweet feast and winter forage and both times ended up going 12 + days before any more rain. Needles to say I hope the rye and red crimson clover come through. Thanks Randy and John for the insight and info you share with us followers. Really enjoy the podcast, looking forward to the next one.
Can y’all offer this as a true podcast ? I’ve only been able to find the audio version in UA-cam. Thanks in advance.
Here in ny it's to wet, some plots did good and some didn't
Yet in the Northeast it wont stop raining. We have more water than we can deal with. My food plots are knee deep.
In NH we’ve gotten way too much rain. Parts of my sweet feast plot almost looks like they’re molding out or have a disease. Is this a possible and or common problem if you get too much moisture on brassica planting?
Spring planted sugar beets are #1, nothing else compares for whitetail, period.
250 lbs wheat, rye or combination a acre
Oats, Peas, Rye Grain, Radishes, Crimson Clover
@@SeeMoreBucks i used red clover instead of Crimson. And wheat instead of oats. 2 weeks ago broadcast 250lbs wheat rye. Yesterday was the first rain in 3 weeks.
Randy - Let’s talk about TEXAS !🤪🤪👍👍
I believe I got some bad seed from John this year in his sweet feast blend. First time I ever had a problem. I had left over winter greens from Whitetail Institute that I used on half the plot to do a comparison all of it came up and only the radish came up from the sweet feast.
Interestingly I also had spotty results this year with the sweet feast blend. Last year it did great so I'm not sure what the deal was. We've had some decent rains too. Couple spots looked pretty good but it's really spotty. Drilled the seeds
I had spotty results as well and this was with irrigation. Always had better germination in the past . Lot’s of rain by me this year as well. Overseeded with rye now in the bare spots.
@@chrisschwersenska1670 I did the same with rye a week ago as well. Good luck
Hi randy, what do you charge per acre, when you rip the ground up
Sorry...that's not something I do.
