This is a really great book that doesn't get the attention it deserves. Do you have a favorite business or marketing book that you'd like to see covered here in the future?

Thanks for the review. The only book I’ve read in this lane is “Crucial Conversations.” I like how this book focuses more on skepticism. Looking forward to giving this book a read.

This is a great inside look on to why I feel so uncomfortable from a sales person who seems inauthentic. Interested to read more on this now, thanks for sharing!

Yeah, it's never a good sign when they are just trying to sell or persuade you without focusing on your needs.

How practical is this book for real-life scenarios? I agree with most of the topics discussed here, but from my experience, a bit of persuasion does help.
Of course, considering that we have their best interest in heart, are only going to sell when we see that they will benefit from our product.
But, some people do need the push to make a decision. A lot of people are nit really good at making decisions. What I have seen help is me taking them through my decision making process and they tend to agree and purchase.

I think it's super practical for real-life scenarios. As with many books, you will have to choose how to apply the information, but the ideas are very actionable.
