I just bought this some days ago for 74 euro with some discount, before testing and comparing it with my prophet6. I love Polymax because it sound rich and fat and very fast to manipolate.
I totally agree! I love how simple and fast it is to get an awesome sound going.
I got this packaged with my Apollo, and I really agree with ya on the limited options being more inspiring. I like that everything is clearly labeled, color coded, and does something sensible. It just works. Also, the horn sounds are fat as hell. I like Diva, and mostly use that, but I am moving more and more towards this just because I spend more time just fiddlin' here.
Exactly. And Diva is definitely one of my favs but I do prefer the simple interface.

@@evanredmon3877 It's good! If you play an instrument, I really recommend it as an upgrade from a normal audio interface. Their amp simulation plug-ins from ENGL, Marshall, Fender and others are world class. Damn, I sound like a sales rep. It does occasionally get...fussy though. Sometimes it gets pops and clicks and I need to restart, but I find it worth the increased space saved on VSTs. Seriously, dry recording into ableton with their ENGL preset in drop D on guitar is dummy fun since there's hardly any latency and the cab sims are really good.
The unison channel of it can do some other really neat things, but I play guitar and kinda...got lost on that part and am still there haha.
I love the tone of the PolyMax. I remember my cousin owned a Prophet T8. I played on it for hours, pressing keys and turning knobs back in the late 70's early 80's. Owning this plugin now, I can come up with Killer Synth tracks..
Nice! I've been looking for a simple, straight forward synth and bamb! Here it is. I just bought the signature bundle from AU during the holiday' sale late November 2023. I hadn't bought anything really in a few years but the UA native has met geeked. Their Rhodes and Moog KILL! Love this tut-THANKS! :) PS. Was looking for patch pac for sale on this PolyMax but don't see one-fingers crossed?
any thoughts about UA Rhodes vs Keyscape?

dang good review, but too expensive, $200. I think it's part of UAD's marketing trick to make you wait for a sale and feel better about paying 50% the price, i'd say this is worth 50-75 bucks when comparing it to other modern synths, the fact that there are less features is cool in this case but should not be as expensive as a fully featured synth like massive x or stuff like that
🙏🏾🙏🏾 Right now you can get it for 50 bucks. I would say take advantage now before the sale ends. I definitely only paid 50 lol. Even if it was 99 I think its still worth it because the quality is that good.

this whil newer be a poop synth in my mind becuse its stret forwerd and easy to use + is uad the makes the best plugins 🔥 👍
