Good point Skunked again! I sell plenty of thumpers to people who tried to build one themselves and just didn’t get it quite right! I’ve been building for 3 years now with lots of improvements along the way!
@@ThumpemupFishingchannel I'm going to remember your channel, I just finished my thumper today..spent more on it than I thought I would. On my third motor. Buying stuff on line sucks, if I had my hands on them I would have never bought the first two. Luckily the were very cheap, yes I know, that should have been a red flag right off the bat. Ordered a second controller because I didn't diagnose the momentary switch properly. Plus I'm loosing rpms even on high speed of the wiper motor. Testing it tomorrow!
@@charlesfoster8814 that’s why I sell them at www.thumpemupfishing.com I have built over a thousand and have the best components, designed by an engineer and a master furniture maker…. Would have saved you hours of frustration and money and comes with a warranty! Good luck but if it doesn’t work, you know where to find me!
Thanks for catching that! I never did get the water temperature but it was probably 55… if I built one thumper it would probably take me 3-4 hours and I have jigs to cut everything to the exact right specifications to get the maximum effectiveness. I think it’s better to buy one than try to build. Additionally mine come with a warranty! www.thumpemupfishing.com
Looks like fun time enjoying your video. Jesse Lucas
Thanks Jesse! Fishing is my favorite hobby!
Great video! I built me a thumper and am going to be trying it for the first time this coming Friday for hybrids and stripers!!
Good luck!
Never saw 81 temp on Texoma in wintertime lol
Sorry typo on me. Should have been around 55
Epic for sure. Why build your own thumper when you can get on from Eric that is heavy duty, reliable, and reasonably priced?

I also built a thumper. Unfortunately not as reliable as I’d like. May just have to buy one.
