The tempo is right, in the opera and Rossini's standards since decades. I do not understand whose who said that is "slow". Opéra is a living performance not a movie. And there's no ads between the numbers. Mostly, the climax here is the marvelous terzetto "Zitti zitti piano piano" and it'is that moment that give the right beat - beat, like heart-beat - to the previous measures, the duo Almaviva-Rosina. Good job. I just notice the "scalla" - instead of SCALA - of the tenor, but at the end of the night it's ok 🙂
Good question! May be because of the fact, that the conductor is 50 m away from the stage in Arena of Orange. Or may be it was his wish of that tempo in that show...
@@OlgaPeretyatkoOfficial Hasn't there been a trend (for too long) to perform classical music, including opera, to very slow tempi, as if to emphasize the seriousness of art music's tradition? Personally, I think this is a mistake. So much of the classical and opera tradition has its roots in dance music. In addition, the drama is rather lost when the music is so slow, and the arc of the music is hard to follow. In any tempo, Miss Peretyatko is a magnificent artist, with every quality a great soprano should have - gorgeous voice, technique, presence, temperament, and beauty. Greatest Vier Letzte Lieder title goes to her!
Thank you! But there is another trend, when music is done too fast!! As it would be boring otherwise! Both directions are wrong I think, there is only one correct tempo, the right one!

6:36 Quel "zitti!" mi fa morire! E la reazione di Rosina è fantastica (pare quasi una cosa uscita fuori naturalmente).
È stata una produzione molto speciale!!!
