I know he is my counterpart but I am starting to think that counterparts/Twin Flames are a cosmic cruel joke to show you this beautiful potential but it seems divine never lets it actually materialize no matter how hard you work on yourself. It's like a carrot on a stick to try to motivate you to have spiritual/personal growth which is good but it's like...that's it. So you get all this spiritual growth but you get to be heartbroken for it and because of it. It kind of takes away the awesomeness of the spiritual evolution because as nice as a connection to divine is,we are humans having a human experience and humans need love and reciprocal connection. It sucks that you feel like your divine counterpart is finally the one you have been looking for your whole life and you get so excited because finally you found them...but nope. The reason for our breakup had nothing to do with love. He has been going through a dark, hard time and I understood that which is why, yes it broke my heart but I understand, and I see it now. So I've also not only been working on getting him back ( because let's be honest, I truly believe I will get him back no matter what) but I've also mostly been working on helping him, bringing some type of light, love and support in his life so that he knows he isn't alone, that he can get through this and that he's worth it. He's also very hard to open up, he struggles with sharing his feelings, so you got that part right as well!! I do believe though that this breakup was needed, like you said, I think he needs time to figure himself out, work on himself, the love is still there but he needs to have his space to grow as a person.
I'm sorry if this comment was confusing, I was writing it as I watched the video, so whenever something new came up, I wrote it down hahaha. I've been trying to give him more space lately which I think he appreciates, but if I don't text him for a day, he always sends me a good morning message, or something like that hahaha.

#1… yes. I broke it off. When we first met he took care of me, had his finances very well up, was stable etc. Over time he showed me he is very unstable, can’t keep a job, he cheated on me & was abusive. Very emotional half the time, the other half apathetic. Could not do it. He has a lot of trauma. He did seem very emotionally stable when we met, he has the capacity but I’ve realized more & more how immature he is. He’s older than me & i feel like it’s vice versa. I love him but at this point i don’t see things working out between us. I’m trying to cut contact but it’s hard. I do feel like a mother & i feel bad for him too. Also he can be very nurturing & wants to provide & take care of me. Even since we’ve broken up he’s sent me money and gifts. He was very committed to having a future together but he fucked up too many times. I couldn’t do it. Never say never though i guess. I think i need to distance myself though, it’s not helping the grieving process when i pick up his daily calls. Lol
