@@Randomhandlename true. I have read a question, a brother asked a some sheikh that he had a haram relationship (didnt do zina i guess) and has now repented but wants a wife now that NEVER has had any haram relationship in her past even though she might have repented. Got an earful from the sheikh. This is the jahiliyyah of young men and women especially. They walk around doing haram, but repent and then want none less than hoor-ul-ain who has never been touched. Why would a pure woman who has never done haram, want to marry a man who has done haram in his past? Ofcourse she would want a pure man like she is herself. In other words, their desires have created a different judgement for them and a different judgement for the sister. If i remember correctly, Imam Shafi'i rahimullah used to say, protect yourself from Zina, and your women will be protected from it. May Allah protect us from all sins. Ameen.
Barak Allahu Feek sheikh. My mother used to clean my father's shoes before he passed away even though she is more educated than him and more patient, loving and caring than him. May Allah reward them both. Ameen. But i would advise the brother as well, to not act childish and clean up after your own self. You're the man of the house, not the child of the house. Clean your own shoes, to show your wife that its not insulting to care for such tasks. May be she considers this an insult, because you consider it an insult to clean your own shoes. And you both need to lenient with regards to each others worldly rights. And dont make it a scene to fight.
Allah (mighty and sublime be He) said: Pride is my cloak and greatness My robe, and he who competes with Me in respect of either of them I shall cast into Hell-fire.
So because of your education and academic level cleaning your husbands shoes is insulting to you? That implies the wives, who have no academic background, who do such acts are being insulted and put down by their husbands. As if cleaning your husbands shoes is a lowly act May Allah make us righteous men and grant us righteous wives.
Of course, first of all, Allaah is the one who guides and grants understanding. may Allaah guide us and grant us understanding and tawfeeq. Secondly, by that logic, cleaning your own shoes is an insult. All it is is doing a favour to the man who works day and night to take care of you. He took the responsibility of looking after you, after you and your father (or other wali) was happy with letting that person be your husband. And what does getting close to a bit of mud to? We r عباد, we do sajdah. We put our most noble part of body on the floor to Allaah, the same ربّ who commanded obedience to husabds أكرمنا الله
husband pleased with his wives equals Jannah.. wife responsibility to obey her husband.. she chose who she married she chose who she is going to obey..
Unfortunately pride is one of the attributes of Shaitan. But I for one wouldn't tell my wife to do something she's uncomfortable with. I believe she does many other good things for me so I would wash my own shoes if she doesn't feel comfortable with it
Sorry what difference is a degree where you might even be misguided & not having one here? It implies she thinks she better, but no Allah said Iman is best & worship to help people starting family is best, if degrees makes you neglect this not serve your family for extra money you worse & arrogant & likely single.
Difference between scholars and clowns 👆 subhanalah. May Allah preserve him
No being soft, apologetic, sugarcoating the deen. Just the answer you expect to hear from someone who've studied the deen for decades.

Yeah clowns like Ali dawah and Muhammad Hijab
Assalamu-Alaikum-Wa-Rahmatho-Allahi-Wa-Barakathoh! Brother, please write "A" the first letter of the word "Allah" capital!
How much arrogance and ego do a lot of “graduates” develop after they get their “degrees”

There is a lot of wisdom in what you said, baarakallhu feek
ngl sheikh WAS soft and gentle in his answer by way if his tone and speaking. No yelling and no insulting. ❤
JazakAllaahu Khayran! That's a slap in the faces of the ones who try to water down this beautiful Deen of ours.
That woman has too much pride.
Alhamdulillah! I pray many sisters hear this and it benefits them.
