I wonder if next season will be a Shiratorizawa, or come in two parts to cover the match against Nekoma first, and then Kamomedai and set everything for the time skip. Maybe it's too much? 🤔 I guess it depends on where they decide it's better to cut it.
Well, in all fairness, S3 was genuinely 10 straight, but S4 they had the two Nekoma episodes to break it up in the middle.

The audience members are the alumni of Karasuno, the Neighborhood Association team now. Our boys played against them early in the season (with Suga, Noya, Asahi on their team). It was the famous "Sugaaaaaa!" moment of Asahi. The purple tee one is the one whom Yamaguchi asked to teach him how to do jump float serves a few episodes back.

This may come in handy soon so FYI: in Japan, High School is 3 years (10-12th grade). Towards the end of their senior year, the average high schooler is expected to stop playing sports/participating in club activities so that they can focus on their college entrance exams. That’s why Date Tech’s Senior players gave that speech to the rest of their team at the end of the episode.

This show honestly saved my life. The fact that after every episode I feel motivated to face the day is something so special and important. I think anyone struggling with self-doubt or even just feeling alone should watch this show.
Aone's main issue is that nobody sits next to him in the train because he looks scary. So yes, he's a soft baby who would like you to hug him ❤️

@@clertexcronius4667 I guess I'm a bit frustrated that people keep hyping her up for upcoming moments. Unless she asked about it (e.g. is Tsukki gonna come back?) it's probably best to keep silent on what's going to come. While they're not spoilers specifically, it's like somebody who has watched the show keeps whispering next to you 'something's going to happen!' making you anticipating something and subconsciously looking for it. If Victoria's okay with that, then that's fine.

Nishinoya is an incredible character. It's not just because he is an awesome libero but also his attitude towards life

I don't know if anybody else already pointed this out, but the "Tsuki" in Tsukishima means moon and the "Hi" in Hinata means sun, that's why Tsukki said it was only natural that he doesn't stand out. It's even on the floor under them when he speaks, Hinata's standing on a sun and Tsukki on a moon!
Edit: Btw the two guys in the stands that get dialogue are Ukai's (the coach) friends. They play in the neighbourhood team and the one wearing glasses is the person that teaches Yamaguchi to do float serves =D

He never loses his focus when he's on the court. Just like what Daichi said, he's wild off-court, but when playing... Damn,
Personally I believe it's more that he has unwavering faith in Asahi. Like he doesn't doubt for a moment that his ace is going to beat the iron wall. Like everyone else is trying to cheer him on, Noya just knows.
Just when you think your love for Nishinoya can't grow anymore he makes an epic save and you fall in love with him all over again

Haikyuu: "Laughs in season 3"
Loving Oikawa isn't something that happens instantly. Some people never really end up "understanding" him and his role in the story. I think he's one of the most interesting and honestly relatable characters in the entire show. But I'd rather just that you watch the show and make up your own opinions.
Oh, and the two guys up in the stand were part of the Neighborhood team that Coach Ukai brought on to play against Karasuno when he first joined as a temporary coach.
You should try to remember them cause they're sticking around as much as possible to cheer for the young crows.
The black haired guy is the one currently teaching Yamaguchi to use float serves :)

Haikyu is so good, at consistently making you feel that you're in the arena, even till season 4, which is why i really love this show.
Ok, Victoria pausing, gushing over Noya, squealing Moi Ikkai and replaying that scene holding on to her heart just makes my heart burst. I’m so happy you’re enjoying this show and believe me, it’s only going to get better and more intense. 😍 oh and those two dudes who are always in the stands, they were on the Neighborhood Association team they practiced with in the first few episodes- theyre alumni of Karasuno and kinda like the current teams mentors/hype squad
Oikawa's definitely a pretty boy lol. Not only that, but he's a petty boy too. He's the most... realistic (?) character on the show since he's got relatable flaws and really works as hard as he can to get as good as he is. Lots of people hate him, more people love him and even more people love to hate him. I personally love him.

These reaction videos are so much fun to watch. I watched every season of Haiyku maybe already 4 times, I also watch the reaction videos from coach Donny for Haiyku and now I watch the episodes probably for the 6th time and it is still fun especially if you can relive the show with someone so enthusiastic as Victoria. Not that coach Donny isn't he almost always keeps his calm and Haiyku is a show where you really have to crank up the emitional reactions a bit :D
Victoria I love your reaction to them winning!😂💖 I watched haikyuu my junior year of HS in 2014 (my 6th year playing) with the boys team cause my mom was coaching. I’m always rewatching it when season comes around to stay motivated to play the game I love cause their energy is so rare to find on a team. I’m now about to start my first year as a graduate student and excited for my last year playing NCAA 🥺

Jup, mine made fun of my athletic inability (especially when it comes to ball games) after the volleyball section. Who new I would be itching to give the game a try again after 10 years 😂
I remember I watched hq before it was time to cover volleyball in my second to last year of highschool (we covered the same sports every year), and I kinda used their postures as reference for some skills we practiced, and I remember my teacher (she was a keeper, honestly, I missed her terribly for our last year) saying I did pretty good :''''''') I'm really proud of the show for making a total noob like me able to do a skill with some semblance of proper technique 🙏 obviously I didn't nail it, but I was able to understand the explanations waaaaaay better to recreate what our teacher wanted.
@@IMH15 Ah that seems annoying, I understand how frustrating it can be when you have potential in a sport but you just don't find the right teacher to teach you. In my case, my sport teacher literally had favourites and wouldn't pay attention to the other players who needed more support with the sports we were playing.

Before i started watching this show, i didnt even know the basic rules of volleyball and had no one to teach me,since im in the UK they dont teach volleyball here we normally get to participate in tournaments that involve: basketball,netball,football ect. After i watched this show, I remember feeling like i could easily beat anyone by just copying their moves and shouting "ROLLING THUNDER" lmao. Ah Im still waiting for my chance of playing volleyball for the first time- hopefully it doesn't take that long lol. I wish you luck with your volleyball games in the future!
@@itsmesamia231 to be fair, my potential is really low, as I am incredibly clumsy. But I now enjoy doing a variety of fitness sports several times a week. I just needed an environment where I could learn stuff in my own pace.
i had literally no clue about volleyball except that people play it on the beach sometimes. thats it. and then i watched haikyuu, and honestly, favourite sport and gosh the amount i know about it now? its easier to keep up in anime because its slowed, i don't think i'd be able to keep up very well in a live game. BUT YES THE AMOUNT OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT VOLLEYBALL I GOT FROM HAIKYUU ONLY (never searched anything up. never.) IS UNBLIEVABLE
The cheers/chants in this anime are SOOO catchy....Date Tech's is probably the most iconic :D

Edit: it may be helpful to say this or maybe not but the kanji (Japanese characters) for karasuno are 烏野. 烏 literally means crow and that's why they're called the crows; it's part of their name. None of the other teams have very similar kanji, so, as long as you know what to look for, karasuno isn't hard to pick out if you're trying to check the score. It's easiest just to remember it as a picture that represents them if you don't know Japanese. Hope this was helpful! :)

@@peterfeith2229.... I totally forgot about that. You're absolutely right, though. Shiratorizawa is written using the kanji 白鳥沢; 鳥, meaning bird. So yeah pretty similar. Should’ve though of that. 😅

I actually started reading the manga back in 2015 and I didn´t know anything about Volleyball. 2016 i started playing at a club in Vienna and since 2020 im a Libero for hotVolleys, a team in the 2nd Austrian League. So yeah it all started with Haikyuu ^^

Really nice to see a fellow Austrian in the comments! :D I am not through with the Manga yet (I hate the feeling when I finish a story and it's over , but I will read it till the end XD) I played Beachvolleyball with friends (for a hobby and weekly before the lockdowns ended that), so I knew some technique but learned so much about Volleyball through Haikyuu. I love it! Maybe I try playing Volleyball indoors if possible again. :)

I was a complete beginner when I startet Haikyu. Then I saw a german stream on twitch where they show Beachvolleyball and there I learned a lot more of the basics and into an advanced state. And after this I found you and got a great technical inside into the game. I can't wait to see more of it. Even if I can't play the game anymore.
