For the compilation video, the Spiffing Brit has shown that those super long videos do really well from your audience falling asleep and watching all of the ads lol
Trust me they know.... They have mentioned numerous times that wan show performs super well in the long term because of people falling asleep with videos autoplaying and ending up on Wan Show. I'm pretty sure that Linus was mentioning this effect long before the Spiffing Brit video.
I definitely didnt accidently watch over the course of a weekend like 6 months worth of wan shows. I like sleeping to it and i sleep 9 hours so i normally finish 2-4 in a night. @Drazil100

Thanks for this! I never watch these shows because I barely have enough time to sleep, let alone watch Linus waffle on for 18 mins about "being okay with it but not really being okay with it" I was just thinking that something like this should be in the vid description and was about to make a request for it. So, seriously, Mega thanks for this!
Mighty Car Mods always reuploads their multi-part episodes as one feature length video later. I appreciate it because it's so much easier to watch later without digging through the videos list for each part.
A lot of Cities Skylines creators do the same thing where every 4 or so videos (so let's say a months worth) they put out a ~4hr combined version for people that just want to binge.
Yes, upload scrapyard wars as a whole. I'm a truck driver, and I'm always looking for ultra long form content to listen to while driving. In the past 4 months, I've watched every WAN show you've uploaded.
Agree you tube premium with no ads and ability to close phone and listen to audio is worth it. Although the price keeps rising. Avoiding ads is great. I also just listen to loads of you tube ‘videos’.
Considering there are almost 200k people regularly watching a 3+ hour VIDEO of a PODCAST, I think a 2 hour video of the entire Scrapyard Wars would be awesome.
I think he means uploading all the seasons of scrapyard Wars at once in a day. That won't do well initially and too many videos that don't perform well isn't good for the UA-cam algorithm.
@@BrownieX001 While he did initially says he wanted to upload "all the scrapyard wars as one video," a few sentences later he clarified that by saying "we should we cut together the entire scrapyard wars #9 and just upload it as a single video" followed by "it would be an almost 2 hour video." So no, he wasn't talking about all of them on the upload at once, just this last season. I initially thought he meant to do all 9 seasons as a compilation, like either a "best of" or just one very long video

I think one of the things that has really helped people be more accepting of baked in ads is the fact they can still skip ahead to avoid the AD, unlike regular ADS that force you to watch all or part. Plus it usually has a more personal touch too instead of the same AD they've already seen a dozen times elsewhere or on the same channel.
Yeah, and something Linus has said before (which isn't so much the case now that they don't always run the intro) is that they deliberately placed the sponsor spot before the intro so that if you did happen to double tap a few times, you can land in the intro and know you didn't miss anything. I respected that (and used it) plenty.
@@RickyDonker Since they've already been paid, I suppose there is no harm to the content creator if you skip an ad read of something you already know about?
@@thejinn99 Yes and no... Advertisers may request the data about how many users skipped that portion of that video. And they'll also compare viewcount to traffic increase. If they aren't seeing much increase, they won't continue to pay for ads on that channel. But yeah it's not as clear-cut of an impact as users using adblock.
@@Mark.Taylor. My comment was only remarking about why people have warmed up to integrated ADS, so not sure why you're bringing that up. Yes, they need ADS to support the running of the platform, though they also have other income sources now, like Premium, which has become a sizeable chunk of their revenue.
Pull strategies based on marketing research for customer needs and wants is usually better than pushing a new solution you don't have a marker for and hoping it sticks somewhere.
Tech is the golden goose. Everyone's trying to find the next solution to a problem you didn't know you had, and hopefully either sell the company while it's hot, charge license fees to use/implement it, or a subscription for that sweet sweet recurring revenue. Tech product sites are my least favorite, because most of them are a junk drawer full of C-suite pacifiers in the form of white papers, case studies, and references to Gartner. What do you have and what does it actually do are only answered by consulting with sales. Ugch. I hate it all.
Never book hotels through third-party sites. You are never guaranteed the room you selected. It generally says something like this room or equivalent. It is up to the hotel to decide what is equivalent. Just use the third-party sites to find hotels and read reviews. Then book directly through the actual hotel's website. It is usually the best price, and you deal with the hotel not some terrible third-party site.
@@DeRaNgEd666 Yeah, probably very effective, but be aware that it does mean getting benefits of a service without paying for it. Similar to trying on shoes in a store and then buying online. My personal guideline is: When the service helps me find, what I want to purchase, I owe them their fee. If I don't plan on paying them, I don't use them. (Google Maps might be plenty grey, because they offer just the search in exchange for data for advertising and then they also show prices and booking.) And if I find something better somewhere else, that's fair. (Like the shoe seller can't find a shoe that fits well. Yeah, that's still useful information to not buy those shoes, but what should I buy there, then? If there's something else I need, I might buy that as compensation.)
Goes to show that no matter how many views and how “safe” content seems to be, whether it be a gameplay video, a tutorial, or some other video, it can be removed at any time. There was one series of gameplay videos I used to watch once in a while, and one day it was gone. Same with a car tutorial I used to use to maintain my older car for years. Best to have a copy of your own, as links rot, and tutorials may wipe.
So as a former hotel worker. We all hated Expedia. Wed report occupancy and what rooms were available to expedia. And Expedia wouldnt update their listings. And continue to sell rooms and options not available. Expedia would also lie consistently about what we even had available as amenities.
A full season compilation of Scrapyard Wars Extended Director's Cut with Commentary would be sick, i would watch it even though I already watched the individual videos
Windows Mixed Reality is a VR hardware/software platform. Basically it's a series of OS support libraries that allowed for hardware providers to quickly develop Windows compatible VR headsets and controllers. Losing WMR means those headsets will no longer have Windows support. For clarity, Windows Mixed Reality was the platform, WMR Portal was the interface for the platform. Even Steam VR required an initial launch of WMR for WMR headsets. In fact there was an option in WMR to skip the WMR portal in favor of the Steam VR portal while still launching in the background - essentially running SteamVR within WMR.
Yeah, I was a bit surprised that they didn't realise it's like Microsoft deciding to not support display drivers any more. Imagine that?! You can't use your graphics card any more because Microsoft decides it doesn't want to … Mind blowing rug pull.
People are working on linux support, I am sure it is just a matter of time before steamvr will work, although I'm pretty sure it already still does, and it was just the initial launch that required wmr for steamvr to work.
@@MegaLokopo SteamVR launches WMR in the background every time I start it. Even if it was only needed once, I have to reset the room scale tracking periodically as things move around. That happens on the WMR side.
@@cheesetomatoes I'll do some testing when windows updates and fully removes it, but i'm pretty sure you can still do it in steamvr. Just like how oculous and htc vive products that require a computer don't require wmr, just steam vr.
Yeah, but it defeats the purpose of Scrapyard Wars to have this "extra pool of money" to work with when the idea is "User has little money, needs good deals." It shows just how well-off Linus is by revealing that mindset.
@@AceMcCrank It wasn't an extra pool of money though and is still very much within the scrapyard wars spirit. They took their purchases, pulled out the things they didn't need and sold it to recover some of their budget. Maybe you could criticise them for buying stuff before they sold the spare parts, but that's more because of the time constraints. Plus any regular person trying to do something like this could still follow along, just either delay the extra purchases a little or use one of the several buy now pay later options, acquiring the new stuff and then recovering that cost when your spare parts have sold.
@@AceMcCranknah you’re just wrong. Its not a well off mindset using a credit card. Everyone has a credit card lmao, anyone can do what he did. He ended under the budget bc he made the money back. Using your credit card to alleviate cash flow issues is what literally everyone does if they’re good with money lol
@@LightningMcQueen-rc3mh I have been poor my whole life. I have never even qualified for a credit card unless it was secured with my own funds first. The mindset of just having a pool of money you can borrow from is well from universal. I'm that regard, I feel Linus cheated. He used this "imaginary" extra BUDGET to skate by. That flexibility is something that only comes with being in a comfortable position where being housing and food secure has never even been a thought.
@@AceMcCrank i got a crappy starter credit card while still in high school making 8$ an hour working retail. I didn’t have to load money on it or anything. It was an honest to god credit card. Idk how old you are so maybe it was different when you were young but alot of my friends in highschool and especially in college had bad credit cards bc they made like no money, but they had them. And I grew up in an extremely poor area. So I don’t think this is a class difference here lol
We live in a world where Google and Apple can do whatever they want and there’s no recourse. Both have ‘support’ that it completely inaccessible to the average consumer. I’ve had multiple airpods that don’t work due to an iOS bug - and a 3 year old thread which regularly gets others commenting about the same thing. Meanwhile Google are even worse. UA-cam is buggy as hell, and the ads are out of control. These monopolies need breaking up if the enshitificarion of the web is to slow down.
@@thargy I mean the fact that you have multiple airpods kind of makes you a bit complicit with apple no? Fool me once shame on you but fool twice shame on me. You probably shouldn't of bought another apple product after you got burned the first time. And this seems to be a recurring problem with consumers. "boo company X is doing XYZ we shouldn't support them any more." company X releases product "shut up and take my money"
@@ChrisClark1999 I know exactly what you're talking about. My primary email had a google sign-in attached, which I cannot recover as I dont have the same mobile number anymore, and I never gave them my date of birth. *Woe betide they actually SEND ME AN EMAIL TO THAT EMAIL ADDRESS to reset my password.* 🙄 They said about two years ago they'll delete the Google sign-ins for accounts not used in 12/18 months, but nope, I still cant register the email address since somehow the account is still _active._ No way to speak to someone and they never responded to my help request tweets. 😡
Baby steps. Google was just ruled as a monopoly a couple months ago, and it will take a long while before any remedies (possibly a forced breakup?) are put into action.
22:20 Linus explaining there was a time before Internet was widespread was said in such a non condescending way that emphasized and reminded me there are adults in their early 20s who never known a life without widespread internet and how experiences within tech in that age group continually changes. The field is technically narrow but the demographic broadens.
I have talked about a totally new product line to me that I have never searched for on my phone or PC and the next time I get online I get adds for that exact product line.
Someone explained to me it was because someone close to me searched for it. They had Bluetooth and so our phones knew I was close. I didn't believe it.
We need more Sarah content! (It's always hilarious/chaotic! In a good way! I think Sarah aligns Good/Chaotic 🙂) And does Sammy Wong aspire to be on camera? She evolved from a shy into a good on camera person in just 4 episodes! (OK I know it's more than 1 shoot etc, and being the main person is different)
@@MarcelEvers1 Sarah is so enthusiastic and energetic! I often watch videos I'm not super interested in with her because she's so engaging. My favourite presenters are probably Alex, Sarah and David.
The other problem is that phones are FAR from the only thing you can use to escape, so it feels a bit... moot? Like, I'd just write fiction and draw in my notebook instead of socialising or paying attention in class
I got over my introversion by thinking of it like reps and sets at a gym. Short 2 to 3 minute interactions with time to “rest” in between over months helps a ton. Also learning as much as possible so that you can literally talk to anyone. Talking about the “pole“ depending on how old your son is, you could financially incentivize social interactions. For example: every time they say hi to a stranger and have a two minute conversation (with you presence, of course) they earn five dollars. That means 10 interactions get a new game
I also see a lot of ones where the 'manage cookies' is weirdly unintuitive and can't really tell whether the toggles are selecting or rejecting. If I have to think for more than 2 seconds about it, I just leave the site. Reject all, or Strictly Necessary is about all I'm willing to click. Luke getting peeved at that site saying about it's 126 partners was sort of funny, since I regularly see ones that say ' we value your privacy, we use cookies to provide you with a better experience, we and our 1234 partners'
Most sites use cookies to manage your settings and whatnot, it's been that way a long time. The only reason they're asking you to accept them now is because of law changes, before they would just use all the cookies they wanted including all the tracking cookies to sell to advertisers.
@BriBCG I can't tell if they're talking about sites like you're referring to, or sites that don't let you access any content without just accepting the cookies.
LUKE, I work for a large healthcare company in the Southwest part of the US. It's a patient privacy option for the patients. Most patients are admitted where their information is entered into that hospital's directory. At the time of admitting (and any time during their stay, really), the patient can request to be omitted from our directories and flags go up in the various medical systems, so staff know if someone comes asking about "Patient So-and-so", we don't give any information on No Information, No Privilege (NINP) patients. In some cases (like political and/or public figured), they may automatically flag those accounts as NINP. When NINP is turned on, not even the spouse, parents, or children of the patient can ask for that patient. It's as if they're not admitted to the hospital. If NINP is turned on, the patient can still tell whomever they want what hospital they are in and what their room number is. The reason for the default to all public and the only alternative is all private is that staff and employees can never know who's who. Does your Father's Sister still have the same last name? What about your best friend from high school that you still play D&D with every other week? Or how about that ex from college you have a restraining order against? We can't tell these people apart, so the best thing is to let the patient choose to be all in or all out. Oh, and if you're still not convinced my company (at least) takes this seriously, every year, as part of the set of annual training classes we must take, A reminder class to never disclose NINP patients is on the list.
The last 3 episodes of the wan show are hidden on UA-cam TV, they literally can't be found anywhere. You can search, only shows older episodes and you can go into the channel where it's showing only 3 weeks ago +. I've had to cast from my phone where it's the first result on "wan show" search. Has anyone else experienced this?
I kinda love the idea of having some of the LMG staff and viewers, suggest old LTT videos that were there favourites and having Luke and Linus kinda relive those times in a commentary video

I live in Seattle and went to Pax every year from 2009-2022. Those first few years used to be awesome i would come away with so much free stuff every (games, shirts, merch etc etc) as the years went on you would get less and less stuff and more irrelevant companies like McDonald's or Samsung were buying up big booths on the floor and flushing a lot of the smaller stuff up to the indy floor and flushing the indy stuff completely out. On top of that with a lot of games trying to be live service and taking forever to make there has been a huge lack of anything really cool or to play in the last few years, atleast to justify anything more than 1 day. Last year i went and the main floor was boring so i went upstairs to the indy floor where I've found myself going more and more in recent years and was devastated to find out the indy floor got turned into all tabeltop and the indy stuff completely flushed out. Didn't go to Pax anymore that year or this year after that, im done with Pax it's sad and ill always remember the good times and people i met there but it's a wrap on pax for me.
Phones listening.. Yeesh yesterday I said in passing something about a real specific moment in a CR live show. I opened YT later and first short I was fed was that specific moment 😳
I once was talking to someone about Dominos Pizza, and within ten minutes the UberEats app on my phone notification popped up asking me if I wanted to order Dominos. That was about three weeks ago, and honestly the only time it has ever happened in all of these 20+ internet years.
If you ever used any voice-activated software you know this is a coincidence, you can rarely make it understand what show you mean and getting a specific clip from it is near impossible
@@JerzyMuller Oh, you've made me realise a mistake I made in a reply which seems to have disappeared from this post. I mentioned a pizza chain and a taxi hire company that does food, and now that comment is not showing. Anyhoo, yeh it wasnt me speaking it; it was me searching on my computer, and my taxi-hire-doing-food phone app asked me if I wanted that particular pizza company's pizza. So that means Im a big fat *_0_* for having a phone listening to me ever. *edit* the website for that phone app had no permissions on my computer browser; my browsers do not synchronise between devices, and all of my phone apps are set to the equivalent of _'do not track'_
I don’t understand travel booking sites. They advertise all these money back guarantees but every hotel and travel agent specifically warns you to never use them. Edit: some cursory googling suggests on the hotels side those Expedia type sites have been known to overbook, book non existent room types or even hotels that sold to new owners and they aren’t able to even sell rooms for. If any of that happened the hotel should have been up front and helped provide paperwork for getting a partial refund from Expedia and NOT a wet cot….
The issue is these travel agencies have knowledge of all the competition in the area which allows them to negotiate lower rates than an average customer who doesn't have the time to do all the research would be able to. On top of that they end up getting a cut which further hurts the profits of the hotel. The upside for hotels is it drives traffic to their business but it's at a lower rate than they would have gotten if they weren't middle men in the transaction. Honestly it's a LOT like the current situation with Google's search engine. Websites NEED to be on Google because that's where the majority of people do their searching, but google is scraping their data and putting it directly on the search results ensuring people won't click through and give the site ad impressions. The choice for both hotels and website owners is between not being found, or being taken advantage of.
I always just go to (google) maps check the area and find a hotel that is where I need it. And then book directly without giving my money to a useless agency that sits in-between
I mean, if it was expedia fucking up, the hotel should have just said that they didn't have an order for you, take it up with expedia. The fact they tried giving them a room tells me they at least got money for it from expedia and thus everything after accepting the order is on the hotel. Expedia is just selling the hotel customers and providing customers better rates/an easier time to compare options. If the hotel experience sucks, it's on the hotel.
Linus Pet Tip: don't get 1 of anything. My dog at times seemed low energy, almost depressed, until he got a buddy and he's behaving like a young dog again because of his young buddy.
Pointing out how good your business contact there at google is at their job and pleasant in interactions is so huge. This is why I will always follow and at least consider everything Linus says, at the end of the day he really just cares about the people. Yelling at a front desk clerk doesn’t get you anywhere- be overly nice with them and the only time you can get mad at someone is if the person who made the direct and conscious decision to screw you over
[Minecraft movie topic] They may have gone full Jumanji trope and had Jack black stuck in the game so long that he has accepted this as his reality now, and truly believes he is Steve! He could be like Alan (Robin Williams character in the original) and just have been the last player to be sucked in.
10:30 yes it is always the high impact method, if google would instead kindly deal with the creator and im sure if they asked a creator to remove a problematic segment of the video. But they apparently believe that a warning and strikes is a good thing to do. Yes linus goes into detail and explains why they dont do it, but i dont care if google may have a tiny bit more work load brcause of people "taking advantage" of the "kindness" (though i would argue that it isnt kindness or advantage, i would say its a normal thing they should be doing by default).
WMR is required by some VR Headsets such as Reverb G2 which was popular for sim racing due to the fact it has a good screen, unless you block updates it will be a weird expensive paper weight from my understanding, atleast it's an excuse to try another headset
@@jakeg6399 VERY popular for flight sim as well. When it released for $600 it was the best VR headset display below ~$3000 (better res than Index but 90 fps only and lower FOV). Now Quest 3 is the value pick below $1000 but you have to deal with wireless compression/delay.
Budgies are easy, here in Australia. There are wild ones flying about. My mother had two outdoor cages of them at one stage but, due to other things, cat back, sold, didn't breed them anymore etc till she ended up with 3 left, one old, two young. so she brought them inside. The young ones passed on while the older one would chat to the cat, one each side of the cage, the bird scratching with its beak the nose of the cat in a friendly way.
one thing ive learned from the internet archive situation is dont depend on someone else download backup and run because the only one who will preserve these things is me myself and i
Don't book through Expedia, they hike the prices by like at least 100%. Booking directly to the hotel is generally cheaper. Plus you get to deal with the hotel instead of some third-party.
2:24:21 it’s so funny you brought up this topic because the wastewater plant I work at was using VMware before their contract was retroactively change and now we all run local hardware
Many tech podcasts have timestamps very close to(or a few hours after) the end of the stream. Would it be a problem for you guys to do the same? I'm not asking for top-notch breakdowns of each topic like Noki did, but at least a timestamp for the start of each topic. You know when you switch topics, you could write them somewhere for when the stream is over. Would be helpful.
I believe they previously said that when WAN show finishes, its late on a Friday night so everyone goes home. I personally believe they wont do it as a couple of viewers volunteer to do it anyway.
The main problem with that is the fact that it's broadcast into the evening. By the time the podcast finishes it's gone past 7PM at LMG HQ, given the fact that I believe they also go live after a full working day then it's not really reasonable to expect someone to work into the night to provide them.
@@kanedaku that would imply they would have to watch the whole thing after the fact, but they could note the start time of stream, then the time the topic starts and so on. It's not that hard, that is how some channels do it.
@ninthburn1199 it's a life stream. Not much can be done. As someone said, it's also late, so why would anyone want to stay and do time stamps? I don't need them, so there's also that.
@@pol5ki just because you don't need them, it doesn't mean that others don't, either. It is a preference. It is a process that can be easily solved DURING the stream, and just post them right after it ends. I am not asking for much and I am not forcing them, it was just a suggestion with which they will do whatever they consider. If they see there is a demand for timestamps, they might do something about it, especially if it can be done without much additional manpower.

I would’ve enjoyed scrap yard wars better in a single video but understand the parts. It just made part 4 weak imo and as one it wouldn’t have been
Yes, upload scrapyard wars as a whole. I'm a truck driver, and I'm always looking for ultra long form content to listen to while driving. In the past 4 months, I've watched every WAN show you've uploaded.
I've "rewatched" every existing wan show 18 times in my sleep now.
Yeah but there's a difference between like a. News show and a show show
I watched the entire 5hr video of KallmeKris extra content. I've also binge watched seasons of tv shows. I think it could work
@@BrownieX001 While he did initially says he wanted to upload "all the scrapyard wars as one video," a few sentences later he clarified that by saying "we should we cut together the entire scrapyard wars #9 and just upload it as a single video" followed by "it would be an almost 2 hour video."
So no, he wasn't talking about all of them on the upload at once, just this last season.
I initially thought he meant to do all 9 seasons as a compilation, like either a "best of" or just one very long video
Compilations in general I would be totally down for

Yes but UA-cam needs some money to store and stream and provide the infrastructure for the videos. That's what their ads pay for.
@@Mark.Taylor. My comment was only remarking about why people have warmed up to integrated ADS, so not sure why you're bringing that up.
Yes, they need ADS to support the running of the platform, though they also have other income sources now, like Premium, which has become a sizeable chunk of their revenue.
"They never say why I need it" describes like 90% of tech "innovations" from the last 3-5 years.
Can't wait for the LABS website to have A LOT more reviews and a COMPARISON TABLE similar to RTINGS. I LOVE THAT THING!
And if you find a better price on 3rd party sites, call and almost 100% of the time they’ll price match it
@@DeRaNgEd666 Yeah, probably very effective, but be aware that it does mean getting benefits of a service without paying for it.
Beauty of having baked in ads, is that when people repost your videos, they repost your ads too.
Completely agree with Linus. If I'm late to a series, I always go for the compilation if it's available. I appreciate it when a channel does it

Indeed. This move will completely break all use of my VR headset. Steam VR will no longer function.
I don’t think Linus cheated by technic going over budget, but I do think he cheated by being way late turning his pc into labs
*Woe betide they actually SEND ME AN EMAIL TO THAT EMAIL ADDRESS to reset my password.*
🙄 They said about two years ago they'll delete the Google sign-ins for accounts not used in 12/18 months, but nope, I still cant register the email address since somehow the account is still _active._ No way to speak to someone and they never responded to my help request tweets. 😡
Baby steps. Google was just ruled as a monopoly a couple months ago, and it will take a long while before any remedies (possibly a forced breakup?) are put into action.
Finally, we can welcome Luke to the WAN show. He has arrived.

Linus explaining there was a time before Internet was widespread was said in such a non condescending way that emphasized and reminded me there are adults in their early 20s who never known a life without widespread internet and how experiences within tech in that age group continually changes.
Yes! I actually watched degoogle your life part 2 before it was taken down!
still watching but being there for your nieces birthday was the best thing I've ever seen you say.
The LTT customer support has been awesome to me, thank you all. (just watching the VOD now)
We need more Sarah content!
And: Sarah and Sammi are funny! (In a comedically way)
@@MarcelEvers1 Sarah is so enthusiastic and energetic! I often watch videos I'm not super interested in with her because she's so engaging. My favourite presenters are probably Alex, Sarah and David.
2:35:40 That introvert kid IS having fun by staying away from people, it's a pain for him to have to deal with more people
It is possible to be introverted and lonely tbh
The other problem is that phones are FAR from the only thing you can use to escape, so it feels a bit... moot? Like, I'd just write fiction and draw in my notebook instead of socialising or paying attention in class
Elijha with a bunch of rocket engines is a terrifying thought.
I immediately leave any site that tries to force me to accept cookies. Most French newspaper site are like that
I also see a lot of ones where the 'manage cookies' is weirdly unintuitive and can't really tell whether the toggles are selecting or rejecting. If I have to think for more than 2 seconds about it, I just leave the site.
Reject all, or Strictly Necessary is about all I'm willing to click.
Luke getting peeved at that site saying about it's 126 partners was sort of funny, since I regularly see ones that say ' we value your privacy, we use cookies to provide you with a better experience, we and our 1234 partners'
thats literally every single site now
Most sites use cookies to manage your settings and whatnot, it's been that way a long time.
I leave and block them if they were recommended by my phone news feed thing. I wont need to click them again anyway
Why would you use youtube tv? Just use a laptop and an hdmi cable and use proper youtube.
I assume it's an issue with the app not pulling from the "Live" section of the LTT channel.
I got recommended all of them

I kinda love the idea of having some of the LMG staff and viewers, suggest old LTT videos that were there favourites and having Luke and Linus kinda relive those times in a commentary video
It took me a second to get the "beat saber" joke! 🤣🤣🤣
They're most definitely listening. Tested it, worked in real-time, all the time.

you should make the part 2 free both as a promo for floatplane (first hit is free!) and to demonstrate google will not dictate what you say
Wow, labs site looks amazing. The team should be proud.
I personally already leave sites that doesn't offer a "necessary only" or "reject all" button. the paywall would just be the same bucket.

Went in 09, it was awesome. Went in 2013, it was significantly less awesome. I just assumed it kept getting worse, guess that it's true.
One Love!
Always forward, never ever backward!!

This made me subscribed to floatplane, thanks youtube.
2 minutes before you mentioned the compilation, I was thinking I should binge them all sometime.
Im down for a big compilation - I always need new videos to fall asleep to (to keep the demons away)
Well there's a conflict of interest for ya
I always just go to (google) maps check the area and find a hotel that is where I need it. And then book directly without giving my money to a useless agency that sits in-between
I mean, if it was expedia fucking up, the hotel should have just said that they didn't have an order for you, take it up with expedia. The fact they tried giving them a room tells me they at least got money for it from expedia and thus everything after accepting the order is on the hotel. Expedia is just selling the hotel customers and providing customers better rates/an easier time to compare options. If the hotel experience sucks, it's on the hotel.

Jumanji is immediately what sprang to mind when heard the premise.

10:30 yes it is always the high impact method, if google would instead kindly deal with the creator and im sure if they asked a creator to remove a problematic segment of the video. But they apparently believe that a warning and strikes is a good thing to do.
Yes linus goes into detail and explains why they dont do it, but i dont care if google may have a tiny bit more work load brcause of people "taking advantage" of the "kindness" (though i would argue that it isnt kindness or advantage, i would say its a normal thing they should be doing by default).
omg the banana comparison of the LG gram actually helped me quantify laptop weight O_O
Now Quest 3 is the value pick below $1000 but you have to deal with wireless compression/delay.

first ever time actually watching the wan show and this was really fun to watch
Haven't heard much above tax write-offs recently. Linus seemed to really appreciate them. I can't let it die.
