Yes, I’m very empathic. And it’s taken me many years to really understand what happens to me when I’m around people and especially groups of people. It feels almost debilitating at times. I’m 46 and I’m just coming about understanding what I’ve been experiencing all my life. As I get older it becomes more intense as I get closer to my higher self. I've finally learned how to clear others energies. I carried those energies for years, it drained the hell out of me. I'm also highly intuitive. I seem to just know things. I pick up others energy all the time. At times it's a gift and a curse. It was a curse in my younger years, as I have aged it's become such a beautiful gift 🙏. I now use it for good, and I'm able to help people heal. Have a better quality of life. For all the empaths here: 1. what are your best ways to identify which emotions aren't yours and 2. how do you usually detach yourselves from other people's energies? To "purge" them after having absorbed I usually take showers, sleep, walk in the nature, use some crystals and meditate, but a lot of times this isn't enough (I lack in experience), specially in these days where the temperatures are extremely high (we have just about 40°C here, this impacts on my sleep routine). I do these things also as a highly sensitive human... I had to learn the qaulity,s I needed to be able to remover people who deplete my energy... Obviously this has been " a challenge" to overcome as I love people & love to heal n help...
