Holy cow man, nice work! This is what I am looking for, mathematically built. Really appreciated this kind of content. Can you do more contents like this? Gonna ask if you could do a vid like this but about corrosion shotgun or d.e. jaws because their element damage also crits so it would be really interesting
Thanks so much for this video. Really appreciate the time you put into these analyses. Maybe this is a good idea, maybe not, but a suggestion for factoring in fire rate-which you said didn't math on your spreadsheet-is to time how long it takes to deal 1 or 2 million damage to the dummy. That may account for things like reload speed and fire rate when comparing mods. Have a great day!
The hard thing with calibrations is they are really hard to get. I couldn't do the actual testing, but I could just do the math on which calibration is best. Thanks for the suggestion
Pretty good vid, I've been rocking the Mg4 since I came across it in the wild, its a very simple build too and that is super nice, I have been all in on weakspot with 4 renegade and 1 bastille (don't know what to put in the spare slot). I originally ended up pivoting to lonewolf but that did not last as it is just not as good and this season i plan to just go all in to weakspot/weapon damage, learnt some good info from this vidy as well im going to try implement too. thanks bro!!!
Hey after testing all of it, including the mods and set bonus, what's the ideal ratio of weapon damage bonus into weakspot damage bonus for weakspot hits?? also for body hits? Or you can also just say your overall +weapon damage bonus and +weakspot damage bonus for both of the builds, the build 1 (all rounder) and build 2 (weakspot only). Would really appreciate it man
Yeah completely right. I did a couple of tests for fire rate with the blitz. I did mention it, but in general agree would be helpful to talk more about it.
Please test using predator/predator or predator/hades using the same mods to see if you can weapon swap and still get the bonus's. A weapon swap is much faster than a reload.
Been running MG4 rapid with double crit rate 2 piece lone wolf for the crit rate and 3 bastille. Precision suffix on mods. Canned fruit for weakspot and also butterfly for weakspot. Best of all worlds. Crit rate for boosting body shots and still tons of weakspot damage. Checks all the boxes.
Nice nice. I do want to check that out. Definitely think you need the double crit rate on the calibration. I have got all the gear from the shrapnel build, so I am still keen to put head to head with purely weakspot.
@MoreMyelinGames full weakspot will ultimately test better on the dummy when u can stand there and drill the head but we all know that doesn't happen in the real game. Having the rate gives a great boost to the body shots and the butterfly/mixed fruit combo recovers all the lost weakspot loss. Deviated beets new easy to grow and coconuts are plentiful. I suggest rapid Cali BP. Give it a whirl and post back or make a vid. Basically you run same mods you are now in the weapon damage category with 3 bastille and 2 lone wolf. You'll still aim for weakspot but the idea is to turn as many white numbers into yellow and also get crit/weakspot combo hits
@@Dominicmesh000316 What is rapid cali bp? I guess cali means calibration but I am still new and trying to mix and match both yours and his build to get results, thanks in advance. xD
15:56 the enemy type omg, so huge. So is that the base number change that everything is based on? Like now certain weapons in builds are better or worse based on what enemies we face in a silo or monolith? Omggggg
Interesting, still trying to decide on MG4 or the SOCR. At the moment, I'm leaning toward MG4 but SOCR with shrapnel +1 part would result in a 50% x2 = 100% dmg increase vs bosses/elites with multiple parts. It's like doing double dmg, also the lack of buffs that it inherently has, means that having other buffs boosts its damage far greater than the MG4. Buffs such as fortress warfare, food buffs, etc.
the build i made is really similar to yours. only difference is i opted for Head Guard on top armor (being in pvp server i dont wanna get head dinked by someone's weakspot build and be down for the count).
Hello, can you do a damage calculation for element and status next? There are no clear explanation out there that has a damage calculation as accurate as yours, i first saw your shrapnel vid and the damage calculation you showed, [(weapon dmg)(enemy type dmg)(crit dmg+weakspot dmg), was a game changer for making a build.
Yooo! Thanks mate. Yeah, I have kinda seen status damage, and it has its own category (I think) a bit like shrapnel. I was going to do jaws, but seen a lot of element requests too. I should be a bit quicker at making these vids now
You were right on your shrapnel vid, once you know the dmg formula, you will never need to another build video. I have a theory about the elemental and status dmg based on your vid, maybe they function the same as crit dmg and weakspot dmg. Both crit dmg and weakspot dmg doesn't affect elemental builds such as unstable bomber unless it specifically says so (de jaws) so maybe they are the same like the (crit dmg + weakspot dmg) and they are both basically the same buffs and thus (elemental dmg + status dmg) act as another multiplier. This is untested and I don't have much knowledge in the game since I've only been playing for 2 weeks but I hope this helps in some way.
I need to look into the butterfly again. Does it actually create weakspots on enemies that dont have them? from memory, it is not a large weakspot. I still run the wolf, but havent tested
@@MoreMyelinGames oh I think it just gives additional weakspot dmg while the wolf does weapon damage. So if just for pure buffs, weapon damage is better from wolf is better than weakspot dmg from bfly??
Hy . I play with a 3 pieces of Renegades , 1 bastille , 1 lonewolf , Oasis mask. Full weakspot build + magazine capacity. Mods : Precision Rush , Precise Strike , Gunslinger , Bullet Siphon , Weakspot DMG ,Covered Advanced. I have dps on the dummy with buff : 63k . Can this be improved? :D
Once I have done elemental builds (with like status etc). Would be happy to share. I just want to put everything into the formula so doesn't matter what build you have. I think I could get someone to help me look a bit neater and user friendly
i think i found another hidden gem for foods or im just late to the party Stardust Dish: Shell Break specilization you get 30% more demage to deviants but 30% less to humanoid monsters I have not tested this at all but I am assuming this is going to act like mixed fried hotdog from the wording where its entirely unique multiplier field (however combined with mixed fried hotdog) most likely and would be a bossing MACHINE also why does everyone lack on seabass pan fried fish its a free 10% boost to your firerate and everyone forgets about it
Really want you to make a build spreadsheet. Dropdowns to pick armor, mods, input substats on mods, pick weapon, enemy type, and then it can say what a single normal damage output is, sharp damage is, crit damage, etc. like give full stats but then also the full damage numbers from formulas. If you add fire rate we figure out DPS on paper. If you add reload rate/time then we can get realistic DPS assuming constant fire and not stopping to reposition.
From playing this build for a while, I think you are missing something very important : recoil and accuracy. Unless you play with an aimbot, you will not reliably hit weakspot with this weapon. That's why I think building for bodyshot (and crit ?) is the best/safest option. Also, be rdy to spit ammo like crazy. And because this game has stupid rules, be rdy to repair your gun every 2/3 encounters. That alone made me quite the build. Shrapnel is just a better allrounder.
Definitely harder to control than last valor, and yeah agree on the repair. I kind of wanted to get more build the best first before really making comment on recoil ans those things. As now I can the best build for mg4 and the best for last valor and just get a good feel for what scenarios they work best in.

Please include mixed fried hotdog in calculations for next since it is it's own damage pool to all types of damage
