150 dollars is cheap.. In Norway, any kind of phone usage while driving will get you a fine of around 1000 dollars, and 3 points on your license. If you get 8 points within a period of 3 years, you lose your license for 6 months.
Similar here in New South Wales, Australia, except it's around A$400 (and more if you're in a school zone). You also get a few demerit points on your licence. The cops don't even need to pull you over because we have mobile phone detection cameras and you just get your fine in the mail. I’ve seen 3 fatalities from texting and driving. One girl missed a curve and rolled her car and broke her neck killing her because she was busy texting to see the curve. The other was when I was on the helicopter when a 16 year old girl was busy texting and driving and hit another car head on. The 16 year old was fine but we took the driver to the trauma center where she died maybe an hour later. Another helicopter went for the passenger but they came from farther away and before they were able to land they were cancelled by medics on the scene because the passenger who was only 12 years old was dead. So anyone who complains that getting a ticket for driving and texting should get charged double because they clearly won’t stop doing it
These people need the wake up call before they cause a serious accident, I probably would more than double the fine, those were measly fines. And I think fines only work if they're proportionate, $150 is pocket change to some people but crippling to somebody living paycheck to paycheck
@@sae2705 Some people will never learn. I've known two guys who caused serious accidents because they were drunk and had to go to a rehabilitation centre because one of them broke both legs and the other became a paraplegic. Whilst in rehab they both said that they would do it again.

Then she pulls out the classic "I'm only putting my own life in danger, no one elses'!" and I'm like "I am literally in the car with you and there are other drivers and pedestrians YOU could kill." It got to the point that I pulled my phone out one time and punched in 9 and 1, and said "If you don't stop, I'm hitting the second 1 and reporting you. Do this when you're alone and NOT when I am in your car." x.x
@hopefletcher7420 I never touch my phone driving unless I'm in a stationary drive though or something to pull up my app. But that's essentially it. I'll pull over to do things.
This video doesn't show it... But when Terri was finally put into the jail cell, she said: - *"This is great... I'm writing the President of the United States about this!"* This is one of the funniest obnoxious Karens that I have ever seen!
While I’ve seen this video, and/or parts of it being I don’t remember if I ever saw the part you’re talking above when she’s in jail saying she’s going to write to the president of the United States lol. That Karen was completely unhinged. The way she’s screaming at the other people questioning why nobody is standing up for her, and demanding them to raise their hands if they saw the guy “choke hold to the ground” is absolutely asinine. And she didn’t have to demand that people record what was “happening to her” becoming you know multiple people were already doing just that. However they weren’t recording for her benefit. As much as she’d like to believe the video would be beneficial her case, video of this incident would actually do the opposite of what she’s hoping lol. She’s throwing a tantrum because she feels entitled to get her way. Everything she said was ridiculous. Thinking she can push her way onto an aircraft affecting better denied boarding with no consequences. Thinking the fact she’s “a woman in a dress” somehow shields her from being restrained from barging onto the plane. Being appalled that no one stood up for her especially given the way she was acting and her actions. Demanding the 🧍♂️ of the airport 🙄. Examples of her entitled, belligerent, arrogant and aggressive attitude and behavior just go on and on. It’s hard to believe that the way she’s acting is just due to alcohol and possibly grief. With how extreme her behavior was, I have to think she’s probably like this in her daily life. Maybe not to this extreme, but I think she has similar tendency when not drunk. She definitely needs a mental health evaluation.
Holy cow. As I said I’ve seen this chick in videos being, but I need heard she had Xanax and weed on her. How in the hell is she so amped up and wild. I can’t believe she’s using the benzos and weed, because if she was you think she’d be more chilled out. lol

2nd lady got RIDICULOUSLY quiet and less animated once he mentioned playing the video for the judge 😂
Yes true ….. she zipped it
we need a k. connor compilation. he's actually my favorite
I know, right?
fridays with frank are great too
Theres another K Connor. Kyle Connor of the Winnipeg Jets. He has a compilation video. He’s not a cop but a damn good hockey player. Have a look 😁
Most Columbus cops are extremely laid back, if you see someone before roughly put into handcuffs in Columbus then you know they were acting the fool big-time.
@@donniev8181 you are correct. We got pulled in 2017 over after arriving in Columbus after a very long road trip. We were very respectful and he was super nice in return. No ticket. Just a warning.
Adults throwing a temper tantrum is hilarious and ridiculous 😆
Conner is a great cop! Doesn't take any whiny BS from people!!!
I love that Officer Conner. He's clear and helpfull but has no tolerance for people wasting his time.
“Who’s gonna stand up for me?” 😂😂😂 what say you?! I am Spartacus! No I am Spartacus!
First woman is hellbent on getting out of that ticket even claiming that as a woman he scared the living shit out of her. Well, if you put your phone down you would have seen him pull you over just fine. Don’t text and drive and this won’t happen and it’s a law because it kills people every day.
The detectors are a bit wonky, though, and do come up with false positives.
@@Elriuhilu$1000 fine in WA, as it should be. Anyone who texts and drives is a danger to everyone around them.
We need more consequences like that here in the good ole USA. Every so called "sovereign citizen" needs 6 months or a year in jail to wise them up and teach them a little respect.
$150 is really low for here. I got a ticket 12 years ago for rolling through a stop sign and it was $295.
I was hit by a car using while I was using a crosswalk by a college aged girl texting and speeding, love seeing the officer here keeping the neighborhood safe
"THAT MAN THREW ME TO THE GROUND WHO SAW IT!!!!!!!", "I DID OFFICER BUT SHE DESERVED IT"
As someone who got t-boned last year by someone who was on their phone, Officer Connor is amazing.
I hope that you are okay . Driving skills from young women are decreasing as is their respect for others .
That screeching woman is drunk as a skunk . She needs rehab .
@@BlackStump172 that's a wild generalization

@liversuccess1420because it’s focused on KARENS
"I'm literally shaking!!!11!!!1!" So what? Why is it the officer's responsibility to deal with your inability to face consequences for your actions?
It's a classic: "I manifest emotional distress, and I rule. DANCE FOR ME!"
Baby strategies.
Functional for babies and early toddlers, more and more dysfunctional every year after that.

😂😂🤣🤣
Oh my gosh. I read your comment just as she was saying the words. Even funnier.
Why stop there? Why not the head of the FAA.
I admire Officer Conner for his level of professionalism and calmness!!!
Being on your phone when driving all together is so so dangerous, the amount of people that have lost there lives due to car accidents is beyond a joke.
Good for officer Connor !!!

Yep, stupidity and insanity at the same time from her.

Then he tells her she wouldn't be startled and would be more aware of her surroundings if she wasn't texting.
"Who's gonna stand for me?"
I'll stand up and applause...does that count?
I like how the second lady is like "I have a child to attend to" after texting and driving with her child in the car. She's lucky she doesn't have to tend to her after an accident...
Notice how she shut up real quick when he reminded her the judge would love to see that video.
Exactly😂 she's a damn idiot
Apparently Karen didn't consider the fact that reckless endangerment of her child is an additional crime.
“Do you not have anything better to do” yes they have many better things but their stuck their dealing with you😂
Never in the history of the world has a woman calmed down by being told to calm down.
“As a woman” 🤦♂️ there is a rumor going around that men also get worried when a male approaches their vehicle
@staunchtefan Yeah, they are fragile and afraid of their own shadow but somehow belligerent and combative. Snowflakes that only melt in the presence of police officers.

This guy is the best. Two years ago, I had a brand new car totaled by an idiot who was texting.
I got rammed in the back by a texter. I did not have my phone with me so I asked the guy to call it in or let me. He said he did not have a phone.
dear lady,
the dear policeman was very kind and treated you with respect that you don't need.
Naw texting and driving with a child in the car should automatically be child endangerment and a felony
Officer Conner, thank you for your service! My biggest pet peeve is people driving on their phone; a text is not worth someone else life thank you

Officer Connor, keep up the good work. Please continue to keep our streets safe and get those ignorant people into jail.

These cops have the patience of saints. These women are an example of what is wrong with society. Entitled, delicate, whiny little children.
I love when he walks away and leaves them talking to themselves 😂
This sounds like it was written by a toddler
“I want the manager of the airport” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I hate that some women think because they scream that they’re a woman they can do what they want and cops can’t touch them. It’s sad and it makes people not want to listen if somebody is actually in danger. “As a woman..” you should follow the laws and he wouldn’t have even said one word to you.

Just a little advice for all the oblivious ones - from the moment you're telling an officer: "NO! YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO *_ME!!!_* - the outcome is already settled... 😬
In UK its a immediate large fine for using a mobile for calling or texting. The US needs to amend some of their laws
"The US " is comprised of 50 different states, each with the power to enact and enforce different laws. There are many variations of texting and related phone-use laws while driving.

I don’t know why, but I lose it when our gal Terri loudly screams “YOU SAW IT!!!” while pointing at everyone in the airport at 10:07 😂😂😂😂😂
Don't worry Terrie everyone is filming this. EVERYONE.
I feel for the officer doing the texting while driving stops.
My mother does it, says "Well I'm not TEXTING, I'm looking something up!" or she's emailing, looking at directions.
Then she pulls out the classic "I'm only putting my own life in danger, no one elses'!" and I'm like "I am literally in the car with you and there are other drivers and pedestrians YOU could kill."
It got to the point that I pulled my phone out one time and punched in 9 and 1, and said "If you don't stop, I'm hitting the second 1 and reporting you. Do this when you're alone and NOT when I am in your car."
x.x
Respect to you.
I have casually asked for the driver's phone and then shut it off and kept it.
As a passenger, I’ve told drivers in the past that if they didn’t quit texting, I was gonna get out of the car. They stopped texting. Grudgingly.

This video doesn't show it... But when Terri was finally put into the jail cell, she said:
- *"This is great... I'm writing the President of the United States about this!"*
This is one of the funniest obnoxious Karens that I have ever seen!
I can’t believe she’s using the benzos and weed, because if she was you think she’d be more chilled out. lol
That officer sounded so pissed when she said she paid his salary you can hear it in his voice, 😆
I don't think I could put up with the Karen's. Applause to the law enforcement officer.
The amount of adult arrestees in america saying “call my dad/mom” is amazing
Yeah, the apron strings run long in my country. What's ironic, kids will do anything to move out of their parents at 18 thinking that'll make them independent, then the moment something goes wrong they're crying for mommy and daddy like a five year old.
And all of their moms and dads are all "Lawyers".
@@charlesdeens8927 yeah i spent a year with a typical american suburban family of 6 when i was a dumb 17 year old. And even as a kid, the cultural differences in parenting was not lost on me. For all the importance america places on independency, many sure seem to grow into personal independence later than in my country.
The youngest of that particular family never moved out, is now 40 and never had a job. Something almost unheard of where i'm from, except if the kid is mentally handicapped.
I'm not at all trying to belittle anyone here, just some honest observations that always had me scratching my head a bit.
She actually asked for the manager of the airport?! She might be the Kareniest Karen that ever Karened. Definitely a first ballot selection of the Karen hall of fame. And she had xanax and weed? How is she not super chill?🤣
I've watched a lot of random airport videos and on the rare occasion the manager of the airport actually shows up, they give NO FUCKS and will be meaner to you than the gate agents (understandably). The higher-ups in the airport obviously want things running smoothly, and if you want to escalate to the manager you might get yourself banned by that manager.
"And she had xanax and weed?" Should have been arrested at TSA checkpoint, attempting illegal interstate drug transport.

Police: "Yes ma'am. So do law-abiding citizens"
"Well, here's a return on your investment" (hands over citation)
"Good, I'm due for a raise"
Terry”s cell mates are going to sue the the state for cruel and unusual punishment.😂
Unbelievable!!! Texting is as dangerous as drunk driving.
How to be a Karen:
1. “My husband is (fill in whatever you think ranks higher or has authority)”
2. “AcKchUaLLy, you cannot do this under (quote nonexistent or inapplicable law here)”
3. Play the “…as a WOMAN card”. Claim that you are “scared” and “shaking right now” while looking perfectly calm and coherent.
4. “I pay your salary!!!”
5. “What is your badge number and who is your supervisor?”
6. “I will make sure you get fired”
Insert insults as seen fit at any point.
The best reaction of an officer to some young apprentice Karen going “First off: Do you have any idea who my father is?!” was a deadpan “Why, didn’t you mom tell you?”
"As a woman, you made me feel unsafe,"
If i may chime in, as a fellow driver (who is also a woman), you fricking around on your phone, while driving, made me feel unsafe, so... game, set, match.
