    I really like Terry even more now, not just because he's a hilarious actor, but because he's genuinely humble, honest, and is fighting for something incredibly valuable.

      Josh Monty lol so he’s manipulating you too? He’s not getting many acting deals so this is his way to draw attention to himself. His dick was grabbed long ago, but he was in his 30’s or 40’s. What grown man you know is distraught by another grown man touching him? I’m not saying he shouldn’t feel uneasy but he sounds like a woman who was molested as a little girl who couldn’t defend herself.

    It's sad that people say "we need to care more about men who are sexually assaulted too" but when men speak up about it, they often times get made fun of and ridiculed. The people who should be ridiculed are the gross assailants not the victims.

  • @Borderose
    @Borderose 5 років тому +390

    This should be taken seriously.
    If this shit can happen to Terry Built-like-a-Brickhouse Crews, it can happen to anyone. It's not that easy to fight back if you think the person harming you can effectively put a stop to your whole career and ruin your life. Terrible things are happening behind the silver curtains.

    I took Terry Crews’ order at my last job i had in LA, he was huge but not scary or intimidating. He was soft spoken and kind. Sexual assault can happen to ANYONE (it happened to me multiple times) and Terry Crews is proof of that. Thank you Mr. Crews for using your platform to support and encourage the #MeToo movement.

      K Jo anything that is built on sexism is nothong but hate. This bill will oppress men so this bill must be faught and never enacted anywhere. If its built on labeling masculinity toxic its pure hate propaganda. People are toxic women included. In fact women are far more vindictive than men.

    • @myrubbersoul15
      @myrubbersoul15 5 років тому +16

      Doc Comeau I know so many men who do not have toxic masculinity. It is a power problem. And right now, and for most of time, men have the power. This does not say that there aren't women are who are victimizers; it's about protecting those who are victims. All of them.

    • @doccomeau2770

      Meg Servedio men have the power LMFAO. You women make up more than 60% of the elecetorate. Men holding the power is dead. All that is going on is women not wanting to give up special treatment and demonizing men.

    • @doccomeau2770
      @doccomeau2770 5 років тому +1

      Meg Servedio the women in any Western Nation could litterly vote every man in their country into servitude if the so chose. You outnumber us like 9 to 1. Toxic Masculinity is bullshit term to attribute disgusting traits to being inherently masculine or traits of men. When both sexist are capable and commit this type of bullshit. In fact statistically you women beat men more. Men just come forward less. Sorry but you are brainwashed.

      George Sharmar my father is 6'6(or 7" I'm not sure) and nearly 300 pounds of pure muscle and has come forward to me about how he was sexually assaulted in a club by a woman after hearing about Terry Crews. Gender, size, clothing, weight do not matter to an abuser. What matters is power. She knew that my father will not act because she's a woman and she was way smaller. She knew that he would be left defenceless and powerless against her. The attacker does not care for you or your build the attacker only cares for the control they have over you.

      Brad F. Toxic behavior in men does not mean that there is toxic masculinity. There's also toxic behavior in women, but we don't go around talking about toxic femininity. Can we stop trying to gender toxic behavior and just call it out when it happens?

    • @lastplace199
      @lastplace199 5 років тому +19

      JONES It's not a thing. It's a bs term I made up to point out how ridiculous "toxic masculinity" is. Toxic people aren't toxic because of how masculine or feminine they are. Toxic people are usually toxic because they have a warped sense of reality, that makes them believe they're somehow more important, or better, than others

    Terry Crews is such a brave man! Toxic masculinity pushed onto boys since they are young tell them not to cry because it's weak, or not to admit to what Terry has come forth to reveal. Crying and being human is just that, being human. Anyone deserves to cry and not be ashamed for it, or be ashamed of being sexually assaulted. It happens to everyone, men, women, and children alike. Everyone deserves justice without being ridiculed and antagonized for coming forward.

    • @fognua

      Akiza3762 the reason men shouldn’t cry is because you need to be there for your woman when she is! Also brace and man can’t go without each other without masculinity so how is it toxic?

      YOUR LAME AS FUCK the roles of men and women have changed over time though. We started out as animals where men dominated cus we're naturally stronger and fitter and women were naturally suited to provide and look after children. But we don't live in caves and speak through grunts now, do we? We've evolved through technology and other forms of society to the point where a man and women can be equally capable to perform the same task. Don't be fucking stupid

    It’s amazing that Terry Crews comes out to explain his ‘me too’ case. The assumption that when your against a person of power that ANYONE ... no matter WHO you are can hold against you can wield can just ‘fight back’ is frustrating as hell. It’s funny how NO ONE in holiday stands firmly you him, or perhaps I’ve missed this ...
    A large, dark skin Blackman being humiliated ... this would NEVER happen ... right? There sure are some sick individuals that truly do think they hold the keys to power.
    Eventually .... all things come to an end. Terry Crews you are great sir 👍🏾

  • @shubh5614
    @shubh5614 5 років тому +3

    First of all, according to my experiences
    You are not able to take any action in that very moment. It is beyond frightening and angering. It breaks you for that moment. You feel weaker than you've ever before. It is so traumatic that you might not even completely remember it afterwards. You still can't believe it happened to you. In that moment, you are first questioning your senses if it's actually really happening because it is so unexpected.
    Secondly, men like Terry can break in that moment too. Anyone can.
    Thirdly, you cannot blame what decision he made in that moment. He was traumatized.

    Hi terry. My mom shut me down at 8, 13, and 20. All years of my life where I was raped and she didn’t believe me. Thank you. When I was 13 she told the cops I was a slut and to go away. Thank you. Thank you terry. Thank you for seeing how pushed down us victims are. Thank you for being strong. It is so hard. Thank you terry. I love you.

    I think Terry is a freaking G for coming out and telling his story. What bothers me are the two African American men behind him who seem to take this as a joke? I mean, police violence against Blacks and other minorities in the US is a serious issue. I just think the same amount of passion and support given to those who lost their lives to police violence should be given to an individual who is coming before the senate and testifying for all victims. To sit in the background as a black man and appear to be laughing and smirking is disrespectful and rude....thats just my opinion. I am not trying to argue...just saying.
