There are so many little tricks in here that I never would've thought of, like the lever as a hammer, or the chair designs, and honey as alcohol. Love your channel, it's so creative and inspirational!
Buddy, this is absolutely phenomenal! You honestly surprise me evertime with the awesome content you produce! 🔥 Not sure why you don't have 10mil subs yet, but remember when you get there soon 😉
sacrificing space for color and depth like this is making my castle so much more bootiful than i thought i could make it.. i had no clue how terracotta worked so nicely in these kind of larger builds! thank you!
Finally I could watch your vids since weeks. Thank you for all the great and high quality content. Again you inspired me to fill some empty corners and walls.
This helps a lot, designing interiors around an already complete exterior can be tricky. My shit always looks sick from the outside but the interior ends up lack very lack luster in comparison. I find especially with castles somehow you both have too much open space to work with and then not enough at the same time. This is where adding a massive basement can come in real handy to add all the actual functional things necessary for your survival world. Bc at the end of the day whats the point of a castle if it doesn't have a throne room, a mess hall, etc, but you still need it to work as your home base in your survival world.
Absolutely amazing designs! Though I'd still leave most walls gray, since I'm going for a more serious and "evil-ish" style, but other than that - really nice inspiration! Now, if only I wasn't that lazy to actually start building stuff...
These tips are great, Blue. But there is one thing I struggle with the most when it comes to stuff like this: These rooms look very nicely designed and decorated, but I'm gonna have to find a way to connect them in an actual castle structure. And that is where the HUGE struggle comes in. I struggle with the room placement so bad, my castle exterior ends up not looking like how I wanted it to look. It's so frustrating.
A good thing to do is to not build the exact room he has, instead build the whole castle and then fill the rooms similar to how he did it, make sure it looks nice but not an exact copy of his
Absolutely love your content and personally think you are one of the best builders on UA-cam, would appreciate it if I could get your insight on how to terraform some of my world. My world is on extreme terrain so it is difficult for me
We he upload I really thought it was the first episode of the build series but guess we still have too wait! But it’s okay cause it’s going be two sweet at the end
These are great ideas to put in a castle or even a small estate type build simple love them. I like the wine tasting room especially. Going to have to try and get these in some builds of mine. Great work blue 😎☕️
You place zo much work into the videos, all your designs are great. That said, place less content onto each video. You overwhelm videos with so much content that I think you would benefit more making shorter videos with less content, and just seperating them into multiple videos Not only will you keep people's attention ( since now adays people prefer quick and easy to view videos) but you'll have more content to upload regularly, helping you keep up on the UA-cam algorithm. Keep doing what you do
Don't know where you get your research from, doesn't matter that it's not realistic in any capacity if it'snot meant to be, but hearing "that's what they would do in the medieval times" in that context is quite jarring.
"Gone Wrong?" Really? You're one of those guys now? Man, big bummer... The castle interior's great, as always, so nice video. Just a bit disappointed in the title
The title has changed now but out of curiosity what do you mean one of those guys? I don't really get what you didn't like about it. It was basically a question and solution "Castle interior gone wrong? here's 10 room designs you need to try". As always feedback is much appreciated, i'm just trying to get a better understanding of what why you disliked the title =)
@@BlueNerdMC Oh it was meant like that! I thought it was something like: "Pranking my sister (gone wrong!)" You know? In a sense that you clickbait people with that phrase because they're curious what's in the video about it going wrong. I didn't realise you were going for something different, my bad
A great attention to details, and yet not over-detailled. The hardened clay (oops, the terracotta) really gives the mood one would expect from castle rooms. Nerd is taking me back to school, again.
I wasn't really good and interior decorating and even now I'm still not that good. However, from the many videos of yours and others I've seen, I've learned so much and STILL learn something new EVERY VIDEO!!! I'm grateful for folks like you that show how to see things differently. The redstone ore and vine hack you mentioned last time is absolutely amazing!! I even tried it with lapis!! Edit: spelling errors

I think it's so sweet that you gave the prisoners a pillow because I don't think they got pillows back in those days. We don't even get pillows in jail today LOL! Never really, this is amazing and it looks so good as usual. Seems like you're stuff just gets better and better.
I playlisted this and will use some of this in my builds. I really like your ceiling treatments and the depth in the walls. I think that sets you apart from the average builder
I can't work out what block you're using inside the bookshelf where it looks like you've made gaps between the bookshelfs. It looks like an item frame but with an oak line through it.. what is it please?
I think in the storage room it would look good if instead of the healthy living ferns the rest of the castle has, the plant pots on the shelves had dead bushes, like they were plants that had died and the pots were waiting to be reused.

Another reason for two or more block walls is that it can both add security and allow the nice little indents where the doors are to be on both sides.
Great builds bud - I needs to build a new castle now to try these ideas out 🙃

Well, not in *any* capacity, but still has major parts unmedieval and even physically impossible, I would imagine.
