Interested in this. I hope I can use real firearm tactics and movement, as a combat veteran I would love to implement my knowledge when I play a game like this.
@@YellowHat07 maybe also an opinion on phisical stock and just the co trollers aswell.. first few hours i only managed to make a couple of kills. Specially the aiming part with the left hand is tricky.
Great and comprehensive video! You really know your stuff, and for a total beginner like me, I appreciate it. You forgot to edit it though, haha. You keep sauing "I'll show this on the screen" but don't show anything
This was probably posted a while ago, but in case you still didn't know: Most guns with automatic bolt release systems activate via a notch present on the follower of a magazine. Meaning that firing a single round out of a gun with no mag inserted won't lock the bolt back. That's why your demonstrations weren't working.
27:04 I love when games developers far overestimate the power of recoil dampening systems. As someone who has shot a vector in real life, the super V system helps, but it isn't magic. It doesn't make recoil disappear, A .45 carbine is going to have a bite no matter what. personally, I'd say the vector still has more recoil than your average AR15. No matter how many counterweights and doohickeys you put in your gun, it will never eliminate recoil unless it is bolted to the ground
Just my option but for those with shit eyesight (me) I try to aim at a distance at the top half of the body because I can see that, the recoil may very well hit the head but it's easy for me to aim high at the body over a distance. Other than that, great video, thanks for the tips!
Hmm, in terms of graphical settings, Ill have to get back to ya on that one. What I would recommend is setting your enemy outline color to being something thats very obvious, like a magenta or something that doesnt blend in with the map environments.
I find this one more controlled than some of the other shooters, not sure why but I have better k/d ratio in this one than say Contractors. Could by the better lighting as with bad eyes some of the darker maps in contractors have me being cannon fodder! 🤣
From what I've heard, they dont plan on it, at least with the current specs of the quest. If a better quest 3 or equivelant comes out, they might consider it, but they dont want to sacrifice the quality of the game to be accessable to quest users
Yep, since the magazine follower is what actually flips the bolt catch. Without it, nothing prevents the bolt from going back into battery after the last shot
Honestly I agree, and it is one of my larger gripes with the game. I wish recoil control was a more fundamental part of this game. But it's more about who can click head first. That and it's very easy to spray at long range, basically no bursting required. Hopefully they add a touch more recoil to increase the skill needed
Wow Amazing Tutorial! This video helped me hone my skills in helping me win the Miami Vail Major !!
🤣I aim to please lmfao
Amazing tutorial, and congrats on winning the vail vr championship!
Thank you my friend! A month and a half later it was a surreal experience!
Great tutorial as always :)
Really happy to see the channel expand to other VR shooter :)
That's the eventual goal. I'd like to be a good source for every VR FPS if I can!
@@YellowHat07 Hell yeah!
amazing tutorial! Watched it through ThiefVr's window (Best VR player in the world) 10/10 made me a better person!
Instructions unclear, just hit level 60 in world of warcraft
I just now found the game and your videos are showing up. Dope!
ok, now that I know what to do, ima go get Vail!
Liked the video, helped me to get to know few settings didnt know anything bout the virtual stock
Thank you! Glad it helped!

THEY’RE BOTH A LIIIIIVE
great explanation video.. i really need all of ur information to be able to make a kill in this awsome game lol! specially the aiming part!
Practice practice! I have no doubt you'll get it. In addition, I may or may not be working on a full aim guide!

@@pappeoeki personally I'd highly recommend virtual stock to help out a bit! It helps keep everything in line too I feel

this goes hard in 2x speed
Hopefully this video can make me gud at videogames
I try to help people become good at videogame lol
Is this on quest?
9:10 according to Vail, the motion smoothing does not have any effect on your speed while aiming.
Hey Yellow, what do you suggest for best visual clarity. I find myself struggling to get a good visibility on farther targets.
Hmm, in terms of graphical settings, Ill have to get back to ya on that one.

@@YellowHat07 Sweet, I wasn't sure if anyone ran any specific headset resolution. Will try some colors.
So you use no smoothing? or were you just setting a bunch of defaults
Currently I don't use smoothing. I was showing off the difference between no smoothing and smoothing so people could see!
I might just have to try this game out, I do still prefer pavlov but this game might be up there

is this going to come out quest standalone with crossplay?
I am unsure if they have plans for that at this time. Something they will perhaps consider

Yea
literally just fought this guy in hardpoint today wtf
HI YERROHAT
HI MIYYA 😁
Guns with bolt catch function work only when you fire the last bullet with an empty magazine in. Pavlov teached us a wrong lesson about guns.
Here I thought I was goofing up the tutorial lol. Good to know!
Yep, since the magazine follower is what actually flips the bolt catch. Without it, nothing prevents the bolt from going back into battery after the last shot
Just found out it requires PCVR, I have a PC, but it doesn't have a good enough CPU to use oculus :/
What’s your cpu?
@@-.dashin.- AMD E-450
pls use amd fsr it will increase your fps

lmao
Imagine XD
Seems strange for a competitive game to have so little recoil.

@@YellowHat07 well, the recoil aren't "little" they're pretty much realistic, aexlab got the weapon irl to help them with fidelity

yeah im a bit lost, i instead gained interest into liking men
