I agree. Adobe Firefly is probably the most exciting piece of AI I’ve seen thus far. It’s more exciting than ChatGPT imo.

Generative fills doesn't even use image patterns larger than 1024 px! Now how much detail do you think your gonna get in a 'real' image using it?

One thing that’s important to note though for editing, you still need to shoot quality content, lol well for now I guess. If you’re not creative I don’t think it can help you much, it’s more of a tool you can leverage on

Where did you locate the storyboard interface?
If I can get vector generation, that would be great. “arrows(shapes in general), type(relevant usable Lorem ipsum), color palletes, and more directly within app or window pane.
That's coming. The ability to sketch out some ideas, get a couple different options and directly edit that in Illustrator will be game changing!

I just now tried Firefly and the image generations are pretty janky and not at all to the quality of Midjourney - so far. I know all of it is still young and will get there but I was hoping this might already be usable. Still... I do see the promise and the many options coming to do so much more and more quickly!
Similar to how you showed combining multiple photos and AI made the scenes, can we do it with video clips? Can we do multiple clips and it will automatically put them together and edit into a bigger scene?
I'm not sure where the "storyboard maker from text" is but that is game changing if it works properly.
As a stock footage artist and video producer I might have to look for another career when I see this.
The annoying thing is I guess they have used all our stock images to do this legally lol

So I am trying text to image online, using edge(chrome fork) or opera, and it wont let me download any image I generate ? it just pops up a window stating credentials ? also when clicking on one of the 4 images generated it pops up half off the screen ? Anyone else ? Help would be appreciated.. Thanks !

It may be great (and I mean that sincerely), but there's a huge problem involved. When customers see that most of the work is done by an AI, they'll ask us to divide our bills by 5. Then we'll see if it's still great. Especially when a 12-year-old can do as good a job as a professional.
Or customers learn they can just do it themselves for free.

Bills divided by 5 but time-disposal increased by 10, by 20, by 100 in the future... still a win. Never forget, people are LAZY as FUCK! :D Change your perspective on live for a more positive one. You'll thank me later.

I just used AI for the first time and am very impressed. I have always been a fan of technology and the future. But I do honestly feel like we will lose alot of creativity from humans once ai is ultra advanced. I don’t wanna watch movies made by computer. I wanna watch what another human being created and worked hard to create. That’s what makes us human. But hey it is what it is. It’s like I love the tools and would definitely use them but as long as I don’t lose control of my creation and project to the computer.
Where do you think the line is between AI as a useful tool as opposed to taking away from the human aspect of art like you say?
As an artist, the way you use your creativity to utilize AI as an additional tool.. just like a pencil for a painter. @@mmueller2433

My mind is officially blown. 🤯 I've been using Adobe since 1991 and have seen some real leaps, but nothing ever like this.
its AI leap that made this all possible, 2023 maybe late 2022 midjourney and now open ai are lightyears jump to future... its insane... soon anyone will be able to make videos and even movies by writing prompts into programs, from music, to scenario to dialogues, voice overs... everything will be generated in seconds....

@@gumby3057 well same happened during industrial revolution when machines took over most jobs in factories, then new boom in computer era in 21st century, this is next level, many jobs gone, but yeah main thing like medicine, police , even cleaning etc will be done by ppl still, at least for now. we have dishwashers, add a bit ai to that and boom :D same for medicine, many robots assist hard operations now, there are some that fully done by robot, add ai and boom :) ai already finished medical school exams even phd in tests, imagine it in decades.

This would be hella useful if you wanna change something about a car or house you can see what it looks like beforehand and allow you to explore different options without making all those changes irl and then end up dissatisfied.

Currently there has not been much updates for Video within the Adobe Firefly ecosystem. I'm really looking forward to more AI tools to be released.

Great video thanks for sharing! Flyerfly is already fantastic for my creations but I'm missing a sort of function that creates more than just one picture. When I write the prompt I'll get great results but if I want to make a story with the same AI-created character, it doesn't create a series of images with this same character but they all look quite or totally different. Not like the max 8 images you get in for example Leonardo AI.
Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this in Firefly? Cause I do love the combination of Firefly with Adobe Express and the other Adobe software...

@@KYLERHOLLAND Have you been able to test the "script to text" option? That's what I am here for, sorry, not a tech savvy here, just a teacher making educational videos and do you imagine how much time that would save me?? Of course it will not be perfect and I will need to edit it to make it unique but if it does the job right, at least 50% of the video will be done, I'm in for that! By the way, no other app out there does the job, they promise they do text to video, I have tried them all and they are terrible. I have hope this one actually does what it promises. On top, if text can be in Spanish, oh my God, it'll change my workflow completely.

You used the word "modify" but it was not you modifying anything it was AI doing it. It's a tool for 1st or 2nd step idea generation but could not replace the creativity of the artist which will require additional steps to get to a final result. It's a good tool that will replace many 3rd party options already available.

It will let users to create megatons of high quality content. They will generate millions of movies every day and you will not be able to watch it all. If it becomes real (I'm sure it will), most of created movies will be treated as trash.

I'm leaning towards using AI as a tool to help and not a full replacement. There is something to say about the long hours people have put in to learn different creative tasks before AI.
@@KYLERHOLLAND It does help, but it makes the whole process too easy. Many people will be happy with the designs they get from prompts, many won't hire a designer for commisions anymore. And this is the worst Firefly is ever going to be, AI tech improves all the time now. The race is on to make humanity jobless. At first a tool, then a replacement
Also things like Generative Fill, which nullifies most of the skills photo retouchers got paid for. Or things like DragGAN by Google and MIT. It's going to make Photoshop far less necessary for lots of things. These things will keep popping up, and Adobe will have their hands full trying to keep up. But the artist will eventually be just little more than curators, no real artistry involved
This is going to kill mqny other websites and softwares, like epidemicsound, artlist, storyblock... And possibly kill video editing too. I'm interested but also scared...
