ECI implemented the burka checking and face matching with voter ID in 2023 karnataka election itself. Why poll officials in hyderabad not following this?
Why this discussion without quoting the EC rules on KYC. There are incidents of fraud in Banks when without proper verification accounts were opened for burqa clad persons. Matching age old customs with modern style of living may not be right.
Madhavi or whoever she is doesn't have the right to go on checking the identity of the voters. Otherwise what the polling officials are for? To watch the drama of the canditate?
