What's a conceptual difference if you apply a glide wax thin or thick? Why does thin film work better assuming that repelling properties of the wax are the same.
Great video thank you. Do you recommend cleaning the base with a hot wax every now and then or do you solely use the fleecing method to add additional wax?
I generally use hotwax periodically to keep the base operating well. My friend Claude from Ulla has really excellent success using only his fleece-applied wax and NEVER touching the base with the iron. But I still feel that I get better results from ironing, and using the fleece applied waxes for top-speed.
Hi Morrie - for application of fleece-applied blocks I like to use +/- 2000rpm. For finishing (polishing) liquids or other applications I like higher RPM - 3000 to 4000.
So you should start having some air compressors to offer & go along with all the new wool/"fun fur" rotos to all the racers..., 😉 it would be cheaper, overall! 💯👍 #itstrue #4realz #seriouslythough lol

Thank you for all the job you make, it's very interesting. have you try it to "fix" liquid wax with a hair dryer ? ua-cam.com/video/Ts8V-qBgFvs/v-deo.html
So Wayne irons, brushes and then punk fleeces... What are your thoughts on that. I had the notion that these liquid waxes just needed to be fleeced.

Hi! Thanks for your great videos! Do you have other ways to clean the wools except air compressors?
I haven’t really tried because my compressed air works well! Maybe try a vacuum cleaner?

can you please comment on what RPM to use on your drill or does it make any difference? Thanks in advance, Morrie

@@caldwellsportski thanks!
That was great. Thanks.
What rotation direction is better?
I haven't actually tested anything other than rotation from tip to tail.
Getting fleeced by the Punk Fleece... All long-time CS customers know the drill🤣🤣🤣

Doesn’t everybody have an air compressor in their garage along with their Tazzari stonegrinder?
