I think the autotune really takes away from your emotion :-( It's perfectly fine (and maybe necessary) for the backround vocals to be cleaned up with it, but personally it's rather off-putting in the lead, especially because your two voices seem to be really nice! Would love to hear a rougher version without the autotune on the lead :-)
Hi!! Just as Olivia tunes her vocals on the original, we do the industry standard amount to make it sound commercial! In fact, this song had to be tuned in what is called chromatic, so it’s actually less than usual. We’ll take it as a compliment that you think it’s so tuned 😅 our vocals are compressed (which is essentially slamming the highs and lows to make the dynamic tighter) which sometimes presents and sounds like an overly “affected” vocal. Maybe that’s what you’re hearing! Appreciate your comments, but we tune very little compared to a lot of artists on the radio/streaming! We have a lot of live videos on our channel if that’s more your taste! Thanks for listening :)
