I love it when Catholic apologists beat that drum: The church in the book of Acts is the same church that exists today. Excellent.

No need to start an argument. Besides, I’m pretty sure by the church the video refers to global church, not a specific denomination.

@@matthewvelazquez2013 it’s interesting because your original comment can be read as an attempt to ridicule the Catholics, which is why I replied the way I did. In the light of your shallow-minded response, I still stand by my comment.

@@pvkom26 It sounds like you're projecting your own passiveness on to me... When I say something is excellent, I mean it. I am not equivocating.

@@matthewvelazquez2013 it looks a bit like you are, since both words “projecting” and “passiveness” are used in the wrong context.
That said, I never thought you were equivocating, more of being sarcastic in a snarky kind of way. While I was wrong about your denomination, I was right about your erroneous attitude toward other Christians. Hopefully the numbers in your username represent your year of birth, and you won’t be reluctant to re-consider your position later in life.

Interesting. To be honest, I didn’t really like when the guy said “you have to start with Acts” if you want to study Christianity and the early church. Obviously you really have to start with the gospels since Jesus is the role model for every Christian (beside other reasons). Acts itself is a sequel to the gospel of Luke.
Just thought it wasn’t very good wording there. But the course sounds very interesting
