Mangalore tiles keep the house cooler than Kerala tiles. We used Kerala tiles first, got it removed after 6 years and now using Mangalore tiles. In our ancestral house Mangalore tiles are is in good condition even after 60 years.

This seller is talking about finishing. He doesn't know the importance of local soil and temperature conditions and use of local products. Mangalore tiles are not polished and look rough, but it helps in quick removal of heat from your house. Don't buy products from sellers who doesn't give proper information. He is only trying to sell products which will get him good money.
